Not a place I can recommend for the summer season

Pros: the property is clean, properly furnished and equipped with appliances. It has a very pleasant backyard with a table. Cons: The main issue with the house is the lack of thermo-isolation. We stayed at the end of may and the temperature was slightly above average. Two of the three bedrooms are on the upper floor and it was terribly hot there even in the evening. On the contrary - the third bedroom is the basement and it was very cold. Anyway, I would not recommend to stay in the house during May-September, when the whether can be considerably hot. The next issue is the backyard: it is surrounded by neighboring houses and backyards. The distance between them is just a couple of meters, so it is not for those, who needs privacy.

Brilliant Stay in Eguisheim!

We visited for the Christmas markets in December and had a fantastic stay! Sandrine and Francis were very friendly and provided an excellent check-in. The place itself is lovely - incredibly clean, well-equipped and cosy. Great location too, just a short 10 minute walk to the beautiful centre of Eguisheim and a very short drive to Colmar. I would definitely recommend both the gite and location for anyone wishing to visit the area!

This place exceeded our expectations! Sandrine was very gracious and welcoming. Everything was exceptionally clean, up-to-date, and well decorated. We were also very pleased to find that we could easily walk to the historic downtown area.

One of our best time ever !

We did in the past many many trips and it’s probably the best house we ever had. Owners are absolutely amazing and it’s impossible to ask for more with so many things available. Pretty closed by walking of the old city, the location is just perfect. Impossible to find a house clean as this one , inside and outside. Perfection !!

Wir waren bereits vor rd. 15 Jahren zum ersten mal dort und waren nach dieser langen Zeit genauso begeistert vom Haus, wie damals. Die Einrichtung und die Ausstattung sind top, die Sauberkeit lässt keine Wünsche offen, alles ist sehr gepflegt. Das Haus ist mit Liebe und Sorgfalt hochwertig ausgestattet. Francis und Sandrine sind super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir waren sicher nicht zum letztenmal dort.

Alleen maar lof voor deze woning

Sandrine en Francis hebben ons heel vriendelijk en gastvrij ontvangen met o.a. ook nog een lekkere fles Crémant. In de woning ontbrak het werkelijk aan niets. Heel gezellig en luxe ingericht, brandschoon, geweldige bedden en op loopafstand (15 min.) van Eguisheim. Dit vakantiehuis is een enorme aanrader. Ingrid en Arno.

Mooi ingericht huisje van alle luxe voorzien. Tevens overdekt terras in tuin waar je heerlijk kan zitten/eten. Genoeg tripjes in de omgeving om een week te vullen.
