A short five minute walk to downtown and all the amenities Egg Harbor has to offer (e.g., public beach, marina, Peg Egan auditorium, public library, park, shopping, restaurants, grocery stores, coffee shops, etc.). The Harbor School House is perched at the top of a hill on an acre lot with a fully fenced in backyard and large deck. The three bedrooms sleep eight adults comfortably. There is a queen sofa sleeper in the semi-private den. The house has a fully furnished kitchen, large dining table, outdoor space including deck & front porch, parking for three cars, and smart TVs in the bedrooms & living spaces. There is also a finished room in the basement with a large smart TV. The location of this house is ideal. You can walk to the village, Fish Creek is a 10 minute drive north, and Sturgeon Bay is a 15 minute drive south. Egg Harbor is home to an annual 4th of July parade, fireworks, and Pumpkin Patch Festival. This is a two story home. All three bedrooms and both full baths are on the second floor. Was nice to have the gas fireplace during the winter storm. Only drawback was the garage wasn't long enough to accommodate my truck, so had to clear off a lot of snow after the storm. Not a problem if you're staying in the summer. The person who cleared the driveway of snow did not do the walkway up to the house, so had to shovel that myself. Egg Harbor is not busy like the larger communities north of there, even in high season. We were always able to find parking and a place to eat without major wait times, and being down the street from the Fika Bakery was a BIG plus! The deck out back was comfy for us to spend time on reading and eating at the roomy table. One note is that Harbor School Road is not walking-friendly, as the cars cruise by fairly fast, and there is no sidewalk. We drove into town then walked around. In addition, TV reception upstairs is a little spotty —though downstairs TVs were perfect for the larger group. We’d recommend this rental to anyone looking for a well-appointed vacation spot! ##### Susan S. Location is very close to “downtown” Egg Harbor yet private. Beautifully maintained backyard and nice deck. We appreciated the thoughtful welcome gifts! The owner(s) made an extra trip to the home to drop off iron and ironing board prior to our arrival.
