We got to the inn and had to wait quite awhile to check in as the man in front of us had not checked in yet but hotel records were showing that he had already checked in, so they had given his room to someone else. We finally got to check in only to have the man ahead of us return to say he needed another room as the non-smoking room he checked into reeked of smoke and he was told that the people who were in the room last night smoked and were fined $500. He was given another room. When we were given our room, the front desk lady was a bit rattled about the man’s situation and she forgot to program our key card. So we went to our room only to have to return to the front desk. She rectified the situation quickly and apologized. In our room, we went to have a bath and there was still a used soap bar in the soap holder!! Yuck!! The comforter and pillows looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in awhile. The tv did not work - we couldn’t change channels nor turn it off without unplugging it. In the morning we went down for breakfast. There was no coffee, no water, no juice, and no milk. When we told the suited man at the front desk, he raised his hands like he was under arrest and huffed. He did get coffee going, got milk and got the juice/water machine working. Our toilet didn’t flush well and got plugged. We actually asked for a plunger to unplug it ourselves. I have stayed here before and it has not been like this but I was very disappointed this time.
