What some of our guests do not love that much about our listing: \- The home can get a bit warm in the summer months and the house does not offer air conditioning. However, we provide tall cooling towers in each bedroom for ease and comfort sleeping at night, and open windows help create a great cross breeze to cool down the suite fast! \-This home does have a downstairs suite that is also a short term rental AND there is a possibility that the downstairs guests may have pets. The space is completely separate and not shared with the upstairs or vice versa. There is ample sound proofing between the two units so any noise concerns are largely mitigated. Our house comfortably sleeps 8 guests with 1 king size bed, 3 queen size beds. \- All beds complete with fresh sheets changed after every single guest. Complimentary Wi-Fi, Netflix, tea and coffee. The kitchen comes fully loaded with brand new stainless steel appliances such as a microwave, fridge, electric stove and dishwasher along with glasses, mugs, dishes and cutlery. Once you stay with us, you'll feel like you're simply staying at a home you own! Guest access You have full and total access of our home during your stay, including the garage located the back (west) side of the home, large private deck with 3-seating outdoor dining table and brand new patio furniture with lots of seating room and a private propane bbq. Choose your damage protection option You’ll have two options to finalize your booking: – Pay a $50 CAD non-refundable damage waiver, which provides up to $700 CAD in coverage for accidental damage during your stay. OR – Choose a refundable $700 CAD security deposit, which is a pre-authorized hold on your credit card taken 2 days before check-in and released automatically 5 days after check-out, provided there is no damage or violation of house rules. Please note: A 2% processing fee is retained by our payment processor, so the refunded amount will be $686 CAD. However, if you cancel your reservation before the deposit is processed, you will not be charged this fee. Firstly, I'd like to highlight some positive aspects of our experience: The host appeared friendly and was prompt in responding to our messages. The interior of the house was clean and tastefully decorated. However, there were a few areas that could be improved upon: Upon our arrival at the property, we noticed a trail of litter scattered around, including trash piles near the garage entrance, patio, deck, and along the pathways. It presented an unwelcoming sight and gave the impression that guest care might have been overlooked. It seems that the accumulation of trash had been ongoing for some time. I did communicate this concern with the host, who apologized and assured us that it would be addressed, but unfortunately, the issue remained unresolved during our stay. Additionally, there was a shortage of cutlery available on the property. Despite the accommodation being advertised for up to nine adults, there were only enough utensils for four people, and none specifically designed for children. This posed an inconvenience as we had two kids with us. Furthermore, the decorative lemon fruits on the table appeared to have bite marks on them, raising sanitation concerns. ##### Osy U.
