We live on Hilton Head Island which is heavily tourist this time of the year. We enjoy island life but wanted to get away for some quiet time together. The accommodation and location was perfect.

Excellent amenities, very clean. Would appreciate more sidewalks between areas, but otherwise, outstanding place to stay. HOWEVER, while I get that you're trying to sell Wyndham memberships, I sat patiently for 2 1/2 hours through a sales presentation that should have been shorter and I I have very low confidence that you're going to make good on it.

Our second stay at this location - enjoyed both. Only minor problem was that the unit was not ready at check-in time - having to wait after a five hour drive was aggravating. Check out time is 10am and check in is 4pm - if you can't get units ready in that time frame maybe you need more cleaning staff.

Part of some Wyndam vacation club. Repeatedly called and given a tedious sales pitch to join the club. Edisto is very pretty with a beautiful beach in walking distance, but somewhat remote.

What a lovely place to stay. The beach walks we’re amazing, the biking got us all around the area, and the people were so so friendly!

We really liked how close our place was to the pool and breakfast spot. Sadly it was 2 couples and we ordered a room with a king and queen. Upon arrival we realized it was a king room and two twin beds. When we called they were very unhelpful and refused to change our room.

We were pressured to attend a marketing session for the property at the time of check-in when we were tired. Staff bugged us again the next morning after we had cancelled an appointment the night before. Jets in the bath tub did not work. Elevator was filthy and smelly. Trash in the parking lot.

No Beach Access
It's not clear on the site but there is no beach access on the property. They say it's a 5 minute walk but it is more like a 15-20 minute walk. We drove to the beach each day. The property was clean and the staff was friendly. But this should be advertised more clearly there is no beach access.

Really nice view of pond and golf course. Awesome room. Big master bath. The biggest issue we had was we had a secong floor room . A second floor room is actually floor 3 as all buildings are on poles and you can park your car under the building. My wife and I are retired and it was 31 steps to our floor. Luggage service should of been provided.

The property was clean, quit, and spacious. The shower was quite small and our jets in our bathtub would not turn on. The staff was friendly and polite. The directions given to our room were incorrect. We were told we needed to go to Bay Point but in all actuality we were to go to Marsh Point. It was challenging to figure this all out in the dark but we managed. The room was comfortable, spacious, and had everything we needed. It was close to everything we came to do and see which was very convenient. It was also refreshing to be in a place where quality customer service still exists. I would definitely recommend Club Wyndam Ocean Ridge to anyone planning a stay on Edisto Island.

Awful, awful, disgusting hotel!!! Rats in walls!
There were rats or raccoons or other large animals in the walls! Moving around, digging, biting, etc. Went on for several hours. Hotel couldn't move us until the next day. We were told they would take care of us first thing in the morning but it wasn't until 4 pm that they moved us. The buildings are in desperate need of repair, they are dirty, and disgusting. The faucets in the bath/shower were coming off the walls. In the first room, if you weighed over 150 lbs, you wouldn't fit in the shower. The bath faucet was barely hanging on to the wall. Poor service, would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Barely qualifies as a 1 star hotel.
