This villa is located in the beautiful gated Wyndham Ocean Ridge community and 5 minutes from the beach. This Villa is located on the THIRD floor with steps. NO ELEVATOR. The condo has a spiral staircase leading to the loft. It might be hard for the elderly or disabled. Please remember that you are staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the place with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our very best to take action ASAP, but there is no one living on site 24/7. Please note that the fireplace is decorative only and not to be used. •The condo is basically equipped with all the basics for cooking (pots, pans, plates, microwave, oven, fridge, toaster, coffee maker (standard and Keurig), etc - cooking condiments are not provided). I will provide one roll of toilet paper and one roll of paper towels. I will also provide one towel and one wash cloth per guest no matter how long your stay. If you need more, please bring them. There is a small washer/dryer combo for your laundry needs. Please bring your own detergent. Other things to note 1\. Please keep in mind that South Carolina has it's fair share of insects and other creatures. It's not uncommon for a Palmetto bug (looks similar to a roach) to get into the homes on the island. Also, small Anole lizards try and get in the homes. Our home is sprayed every few months for bugs. 2\. The condo is so close to the beach that the tap water is slightly salty, which is completely normal and safe. We knew what we were getting into from our last visit, but it’s just as great the second time around. The only downside is the staircase, but once you get over that hurdle it quickly becomes an upside. From the balcony, you have a lovely view of the grounds and can often see wild deer roaming around. The bed is super comfy, and the second floor is adorable and perfect for children, complete with a spiral staircase. It’s very clean and has all the accommodations you would want. Location-wise, everything is a short drive away. I recommend the Sea Cow Eatery or McConkey’s if you want a bite to eat. The beach is close enough that there is no distance-related convenience as long as you don’t mind a quick drive. I expect to return. ##### Marie B.
