Sleeps up to 12\. One king, 3 queens, 4 twin beds. Enjoy new decks, new screened in front and back porches. Very close to beach access #2; a 2 minute walk. Free wifi and streaming you tube TV in every room. RO water system for drinking and ice maker. Tons of books, games, puzzles, and a dvd library to enjoy. Should you wish to cool off in a pool, this property comes with an 2025 amenity package. Located 2.7 miles, a 6 minute drive, this package includes an amenity card and a lanyard for access to the beach club that has 3 pools, one indoor heated during the winter months. One pool has a Tipsy Turtle Tiki Bar during peak season. There are several tennis courts, free putt putt, exercise room, basket ball, pickle ball, and more. The Cabana House is on the beach with covered picnic table use, showers, beach volleyball, and bathrooms. There are umbrellas and chairs available for rent during the summer season. There is golf cart and car parking availability here. The 2025 amenity card is usually $275 a week for guests of the island. We hope you enjoy this added feature with no charge. We do ask that if you lose either the card or the lanyard, to pay to have it replaced. Fee is $500.00\. I plan to renew the amenity card for 2026. Granite countertops in a desirable open concept kitchen/dining/living area space. Farm house style dining table and benches. Extra seating at counter level in kitchen. Well stocked cooking supplies. New Air fryer added. Enjoy the lower deck covered area with cozy seating area, ping pong table, tether ball, outdoor fridge, and 2 outdoor shower areas. One is enclosed with hot water. Wash away the sand before heading back upstairs. Walk to several great restaurants, gas station, grocery store and more. Bike and golf cart rentals are just a 3 minute walk to the house. Lots of beach chairs, a beach wagon, umbrella and more for you in the downstairs owners closet. This is an amazing locatin for any family or friends of any ages. A car tag for the state county park less than a mile away is included for a vehicle for up to 8 individuals for entry. There are beautiful beach accesses, outdoor restrooms, a beautiful gift shop, and free wifi room. Many picnic tables for larger gatherings. A membership to the local Serpantarium is included as well during their season. Please check their website for more information on dates that they are open. This gets 2 adults and 2 kids in for free or 1 Adult and 3 kids. You can purchase tickets with the membership for a 10% discount if you have more in your party. Save 10% on the gift shop as well. \*Sheets, towels, and dish towels are provided, and included in the linen fee. Sheets and Towels will be freshly laundered and beds are made and ready for your arrival. To rent sheets and towels here on the island would be $303.00 alone if I did not provide this service. A starter cleaning pack of dish detergent, dish soap, laundry detergent, toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags are provided. Please bring your own Beach Towels and personal toiletries. Depending on the length of your stay, you may have to replenish the items in the starter packet during your visit. There is a pack and play and highchair in the bunk bedroom closet. Guests are to remove personal possessions upon vacating the premises. Please remove used sheets and towels and place them in the dirty bin outside on the back porch upstairs. Please leave coverlets and pillow shams on the beds. Wash dishes and put them away, clean out both refrigerators and freezers. Remove trash and put it into the two rolling cans downstairs. No need to roll the carts out. Unfortunately, the town of Edisto, has had problems with Golf Carts and no longer allows visitors to bring their own. Please call Edisto Town Hall (843-869-2505) or refer to their website for more information. www.townofedistobeach.com You may rent one on the island just a short walk from the house. Lights out for turtles between May1st to October 31 from dusk to dawn. The town has an ordinance prohibiting artificial light that can disorient sea turtle hatchlings. No artificial light should illuminate any of the beaches during this time. Violators will be charged a penalty or be prosecuted. The house was perfect for the three generations of our family. Our grandchildren enjoyed the games and toys, and the youngest toddler had plenty of room to safely roam about the living room. We enjoyed the covered screen porch with the ocean breeze where we read and played board games, or just talked while relaxing in the rocking chairs. The close proximity of the beach was a real hit with everyone. A short walk to enjoy the waves and sand was delightful. Loved being able to shower off all the sand in the closed shower before going upstairs. The fully stocked kitchen was a pleasure to work in since we cooked every night, and we were thankful for the reasonably priced groceries from Food Lion just minutes away. We enjoyed the fire pit with s’mores, learned a lot at the Serpentarium, and spent a lot of time in the pools as well. Loved that the pools were warm! They were enjoyed daily by the adults and kids. It had so many toys and activities for the little ones and big ones! It had an awesome screened in porch to enjoy the view of the ocean without the bugs. Outdoor shower was great to clean up after a day at the beach without tracking all the sand into the house! We enjoyed the fire pit and bbq. They had beach chairs for those that forgot to bring them and even a cart to haul it all across the street to the beach which only took a couple of minutes to walk there! Amazing location for everything. We were even able to go enjoy the pool with the passes they included when it was raining and not much fun at the beach! I will definitely be booking this house again when we come back to this area! Host responded quickly to all my messages and was very nice! It was my granddaughter’s 7th birthday and she keep saying it was her best birthday ever. Thank you again for a great vacation for my whole family! ##### Teresa F. We appreciated the high chair and other baby items, the extra blankets, all the tools in the kitchen, beach gear, and the screened porches. The beach is a very short walk and not crowded. We pretty much spent the week enjoying the ocean breeze either on the front screened porch or from the swing under the house. The best outdoor shower ever too! The house had everything you could possibly need or want in a beach house. The location was perfect as we could easily walk to several restaurants and the view of the ocean from the amazing screened in porch was so relaxing. Those were the words my sister used to describe her stay at The Beach Ball. My husband & I gifted a 7-day stay at The Beach Ball to my sister, brother-in-law, and their adult children's families (all in all 6 adults and 6 children ages 4-12). They had a blast! The house was clean, spacious, and close to so many activities - Botany Bay, King's Farm Market, Flowers Seafood market, Edisto Island Museum & Gift Shop, and Penn Center on nearby St. Helena Island where they learned so much about Gullah Geechee history & culture. The amenity pass at Wyndam Ocean Ridge provided hours of swimming (1 indoor/1 outdoor pool), miniature golf, etc. At the house, fun was had with hours of ping-pong, pool, tether ball, and indoor board games. Every morning my brother-in-law & two of his granddaughters fished from the beach across the street. They didn't catch anything, but that really wasn't the point. Their stay could not have been much better. Thank you, Heather, for providing my dear sister and her family with "the Best Vacation Ever". ##### Diane B. My one and only complaint or negative comment is that the washer and dryer downstairs is up on a 3 step ledge. I found it very unsafe especially with no handrail.
