When we weren't out and about (and getting blown off the golf course by 30 mph winds!) we watched the gannets diving for food just off shore, and the shipping traffic back and forth from Edinburgh. The view of Bass Rock is outstanding.The flat is compact, but it had everything we needed. Besides the Beachfront location, its also an easy walk into town for restaurants and shopping. The fan in the bathroom was a little alarming as it was very loud but efficient. I had a wheelie walker and found it was best to exit the house backwards when leaving.
