"Nice luxury apartments"
We were upgraded to their 2 bedroom apartment. The rainfall shower and the deep soak bath tub was very nice. They offered breakfast, but otherwise did not have room service. We didn't mind, since there was a full kitchen. They had a few drinks and snacks stocked, which I thought the prices were fairly reasonable. The staff was very helpful. It's one of the nicest place we've stayed at. We will definitely stay here when we visit Edinburgh again.

"One night only, good location, great room"
Enjoyed the comfortable, clean, spacious, King bed room. The location worked well for us. Not sure if I would have found it too noisy in peak tourist season. The breakfast was very good, served in a pleasant, large, light filled room. Loved the stack of shortbread in reception. Those little touches along with good service and a very clean hotel makes this hotel easy to recommend.

"Beautiful and worth the splurge"
We splurged. We're so happy we did. There is something exciting about staying in THAT hotel in any city, the one that stands out and makes people wonder, "What is THAT building?" The room was beautiful, with a large white marble bathroom and the most comfortable bed we slept on in weeks. But the little things are also fun: the nightly turndown with the little card that tells you tomorrow's weather, the free fancy water when we arrived, the doorman, the big fancy staircase with stained glass windows, the art, the fresh flowers in the lobby--that kind of stuff. The train station is literally right beside/underneath the hotel (we didn't hear train noise at all, but our friends did, just a heads-up) so was extremely convenient, and you are just steps from Old Town. Breakfast was pricey but very high-quality with unusual items for the taking. It's expensive for sure, all the way around. But it's also really, really fun.

I cannot say enough about the Knight Residence. It is a wonderful place and I wish that we could have stayed more than one night. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The rooms felt like home especially with the food basket that they provided (cereals, juice, bread). My husband and I enjoyed relaxing in the living room with our cup of tea after walking all day!

"Great hotel in great location"
I would give it a 4.5 stars, the half star could have been made up if there was a chest of drawers to put away small items. There were closets but with few hangers and so we had to still 'live out of the suitcase'. It is a bit hard when you stay longer than 3 days. Other than that, it was great location - perfect place to experience old town completely! The apartment was great - clean, spacious and everything you needed and more.

"excellent location!!"
With Hilton Honors I was given the smallest room, furthest from the elevator (not sure if it was still in the hotel) so small there wasn't even a dresser so I lived out of my suit case for 3 days!!
