Friendly landlord helped us with key safe, and was very helpful. The flat was clean and comfortable. However, two things: 1) We only switched the bathroom light on once - once was enough- because the loud extractor fan goes on and on for what seems like 15 minutes. We couldn't use it at night, and mostly just went in with the light off using the hall light. 2) If you're booking this for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival it's a bit too far. We had to get a bus there and back every day, at about 25 minutes to the centre. That said, if you're booking this for just a sight seeing break, it is a nice area and there are buses and shops nearby. We enjoyed ourselves. ##### Michele W.
