Even though we were visiting in February, the cottage was toasty warm - especially the upstairs bedroom, which was easily heated by the wood burner and kept it's warmth all night so it was still comfortable when going to breakfast the next morning. Easy driving distance to Edinburgh and all kinds of attractions.

It is a lovely cottage, in a great location (feels like the middle of nowhere but only 5mins to Sainsburys!). The cottage is getting a little tired inside and could probably do with a spruce but this didn't effect our stay. It was quiet and peaceful - and totally loved having the cows and sheep outside of the window.
