The cabin and outbuildings were very clean. The sheets were soft, and each bed had 2 nice pillows. Well-stocked kitchen and plenty of firewood and washing water. The host was very easy to communicate with and helped us with our questions before and during the stay. We had a tent next to the cabin and there was plenty of room. We saw a couple of owls and a million frogs, which my kids loved catching :) Note that the cabin is on a well-traveled road which we did not mind but some might be surprised that it is not particularly remote. Easy access to the "main roads" N/S and E/W which made the drives to Tahquamenon and Munising easy. ##### Bethany W. I loved it because it reminded me of going to deer camp with my Dad when I was younger. If you have nostalgia for rustic living in the woods and the smell of a wood stove, this cabin is an absolute nostalgia-filled joy to stay in. It's a great place to relive those youthful memories, even though it's not the same cabin I stayed in as a kid. Great place to play board games, cook over an open flame, sit outside and star gaze, enjoy the bird song of being in the woods, and unplug for a weekend.
