"The rooms are nicely updated considering it is a motel. The only thing is that it could be cleaned a little better. There was dust on some items and one of our beds has quite a bit of black dog hair on it. I think the cleaner saw the bed was still made and didn't change the bedding. The last person likely used it just for their dog. It was loose hair, i know dog hair is hard to clean but you can tell the loose hair is just from a dog laying there. I mean, who knows so I can't say for sure how it was cleaned I just noticed a big pile of fur. I would stay here again though as it was a lot better than the Days Inn I stayed at in the Soo earlier this year. No breakfast though. Breakfast Pig restaurant was excellent for breaky."

"Trunk Road Hotel is a basic roadside motel, so I wasn't expecting a luxury experience; but the room was clean, the connectivity was excellent, and I had no problems with my stay. My only complaint (and it's quite minor) is that I wish the lighting in the room had been better; it was adequate, but the nook between the sleeping area and the bathroom was almost completely dark-- not helpful when that's where the luggage bench was..."

"The staff was very accommodating and helpful in our check in process. We got lost along the way and missed the cutoff but the staff did everything she could so that we could get the keys to our units. The cottages are exactly how they were advertised. Clean, beds and pillows are comfortable and we had all we need for our stay. Will recommend"

"After travelling for many hours, we found the pub attached to the hotel very hospitable. The staff was great, fun and efficient. Even though the hotel offers hot tubs (indoor and out), they are closed at 10:30, not allowing a chance to enjoy."
