The room I reserved over Expedia was not the room we got. I’m not sure what happened with the reservation. It worked out but was a little disappointed.

This place is pretty good. Great Breakfast, Nice staff. Needs a few updates. Yet, worth it. The rooms bigger than I expected. Super helpful staff

The room was mostly clean. They have horrible blankets on the beds. Just two thin scratchy ones, and a sheet. Otherwise, it was a nice stay.

This hotel was a really great value for the money. Relatively new, clean, good continental breakfast, totally quiet, comfortable, and even a nice workout room with a great treadmill and elliptical.

It’s so nice to go to a motel that is so respectful and very understanding about situations and the rum is just gorgeous. We’re loving it even though it is this is our hometown in this area Boyceville is but unfortunately we gotta head back to our other home, which is on the other side of Wisconsin, so but I know one thing each time we come over come back over here not to any other motel.

All of our single queen rooms are accessible rooms. Most book that room type as it is the least expensive of the room types we offer.

The staff is great but the property itself is in desperate need of some updating. The air conditioner was unbelievably loud and smelled like mildew. Coffee maker broke down and they could not get a repair person out because it was the weekend. There are lots of coffee places nearby where they could have picked up some Joe boxes but didn’t. Heck, just go to Walmart down the street and pick up a Mr Coffee. Have stayed at a number of AmericInns before and this was the first time I was disappointed.

Disappointing service
Desk staff wasn’t there when we checked in. Had to wait 5 minutes before person showed up. Room was open before when we got to it, switched to another room. One of the beds had a burn hole in the sheets. Smoke alarm battery died at midnight on our second night, young man at desk offered to replace it, but I elected to do it myself. When we spoke with desk person at check out, was told we would get a call from hotel manager when they got in that afternoon, I had to call at 6:30 pm.

The only issue we had is our room didn’t smell very good, I believe due to humidity and carpet not being fully dry. Other than that, it was a great place to start. Friendly staff and good breakfast!

Carpets Need Cleaning!
We stayed in a very spacious (king-bed) room. Overall the room was clean but smelled musty/smokey even though it was a smoke-free room. We turned up the air conditioner and it helped, but the carpet was very heavy in the dirt. I noticed heavily soiled carpets because of my allergies, but still, it needs to be cleaned. Dark colors don't hide the odor or the fact that it's not clean. The clerk to my cc card and looked at the back. Shame on me for handing it to him, but seriously!? Honesty would have handed it back and told me to run it in the machine. I forget this because I'm not that young! :) I did tell him he just looked at my number and he didn't need to remember it.
