Staff were very helpful and although our original booking at the Anchor Inn was not available the Marina Bay hotel allowed us to stay there in a nice 3d floor room with balcony overlooking Chincoteague Bay. Very happy with this arrangement !

Great but, if I only had one wish…..
We have stayed at Anchor Inn many times over the years and I can say that this has always been a great motel but now after the renovations, this is an even better motel. My only complaint would be that there is no access for any disabled persons. I already knew this but, seems like a ramp to just the first floor wouldn’t be that hard to create. Until you need those things, you just don’t appreciate how important they really are.

Quiet, clean and convenient place to stay. This is our 3rd trip to the island and our 3rd stay with the Anchor Inn/Marina Bay. This was our first stay in the Anchor Inn part of the hotel complex and we enjoyed our room, pleasant view, and all the hotel amenities. IF only our upstairs neighbor hadn't spilled a full cup of hot coffee on her deck which doused me while I was enjoying a quiet morning. NO fault of the hotel.

Weekend family getaway

Hotel was beautiful! Views were spectacular! Breakfast had a wide variety of good to please even a picky eater like myself. Check in and check out quick and efficient! Highly recommend!!

We went to Chincoteague for the pony swim. Our hotel was two blocks from the fairgrounds and our room had a deck off of it overlooking the water. Everything was within walking distance and the hotel staff were very helpful with directions and places to visit. The last night of the festival there were fireworks that we watched from our deck. Awesome. I would definitely stay here again

A nice stay
The room was great, and we had a nice view. The staff was helpful. The only downside was the fire alarm was missing and the shower squeaked, nothing we couldn’t live with, though.

The only notable issue was that the cleaning team had left their vacuum in the room we checked into, but we just put it in the closet so it only mattered on a level of professionalism really. The private dock is nice to relax on after a busy day running around the island.
