Buon hotel vicino alla ferrovia NJ Transit

Posted 18-Apr-2016
L'auto dell'hotel viene a prendervi a Newark e vi riporta. La colazione è la classica americana degli hotel economici . Ho soggiornato per 3 notti. Ve lo consiglio se non avete problemi con le colazioni economiche (ma comunque decenti) e non avete niente da dire contro la gente di colore ......

It was a great place to stay. Everyone was nice and helped us find where we needed to be in the area.

DIY level renovations. Smell of smoke in non-smoking floor. Undesirable location.

Weed smoking. Soda machine didn't work. Ice machine didn't work. The door to the elevator was half way stuck on one them. Room key didn't work. Lock on the door didn't match the key hole.

Nice hotel in spite of bad reviews

Posted 13-Feb-2016
Pros: cost, size of rooms, clean
Cons: elevator, can have a stale smell
Location: Downtown Newark neighborhood, close to Manhattan
My room (#602) was clean and neat. The king bed was comfortable- the pillows were a little bouncy. Everything worked- although the TV needed to be plugged in. All the walls and ceiling were clean. More than I expected from a two-star hotel. The airport shuttle picked me up within 20 minutes. There can be some language barriers with the hotel staff, but I had no problems. I had no problems with noise, although my stay was a Saturday and Sunday. The breakfast is definitely low protein, high carb. I would return.

Great bed, that's about it

Posted 10-Feb-2016
Room was good, clean and the bed was VERY comfortable. Breakfast area was sticky and messy. Staff were really nice but had thick accents that were difficult to understand, esp on the phone. Overall decent and inexpensive for an overnight stay awaiting my plane. (NEGATIVE: Bathtub would not hold water for a bath. Door was uneven and had to be lifted to deadbolt. POSITIVE: bed and pillows were SO comfortable!)
