We had such a pleasant experience then that when we decided to return to Glacier National Park this summer, Lone Elk Lodge was our first search. We spent 4 nights here and it was exactly what we expected! Leslie, Carl, and family have a beautiful lodge that they have lovingly cared for and maintained over the years. Since our family grew, we stayed in two units this year-the Sinopah and Two Medicine. Both exceeded our expectations and provided a home away from home. The hosts are awesome. They will help you out with any problems you're having to make your stay great. We told them we wanted to see a bear and a moose while we were on the trip and the hostess said bear come in their pasture some evenings. One night we got a knock on the door. It was the hostess telling us she saw a bear in the pasture. We went out to see the bear and check off an item from our bucket list. If you're a cat lover their cat is super friendly. Had just about everything we needed for our stay and visit to Glacier National Park. Owners were very nice. Plenty of room on the property for walks in the woods. Leslie and Carl are great host. The Two Medicine Suite at the Lone Elk Lodge is a jewel of a find. They have a beautiful property. We loved the decor and comfy feel of the room. It was the perfect refuge every evening after exploring the park. We appreciate the attention to detail and consideration of the little things like coffee and fresh scones for our first day, bedside electrical extensions, excellent WiFi ( uploaded our photos to the cloud for safe keeping). The guest information book and hiking guides were very useful. WEE had access to their washer and dryer! Only regret - we didn’t get to try their home baked pie. Two Medicine Suite was the perfect spot for my partner and I to stay while visiting Glacier. The unit was very clean and comfortable, with a fully stocked kitchen. The property is beautiful, with lovely panoramic views and walking trails. Leslie and Carl were great hosts--very communicative and helpful. I highly recommend their property! ##### megan c. From fresh baked scones at check in, to suggestions for great hikes. Leslie even loaned me hiking sticks that saved me knees on a tough hike.
