Mountain Pines has been built and run by the same family for three generations. It has old world charm, it is spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. On top of that rates are very reasonable. The location is beautiful and feels like it’s right in the park. The room was clean, the coffee was great and the bed was extremely comfortable. I think the best part was the service. Ryan helped us find the best hikes and suggested a plethora of other hikes that we hadn’t been considering. It was great having all of his insider’s knowledge. Lower rating only because rooms are dark & depressing. Can’t keep curtains open because the large windows face the courtyard area and walls are deep dark brown.
