With it's beautiful views and unique ambiance, the cabin captures a special part of the Maine experience. Tastefully furnished in the Adirondack style, the cabin has cathedral ceilings in every room. The stone fireplace is the centerpiece of the living room.The well equipped kitchen has dining for 6 to 8\. The cabin has two bebrooms. The master has a king size bed. The guest bedroom has a king size bed. There is a full bath with a tiled shower. The cabin is heated and air conditioned with a heat pump system.All have a direct view of the water. The cabin has a covered porch that can be used for dining or just relaxing.There is a spacious stone patio off the porch with a dining table and seating. A gas grill is on the patio also. There are two docks with floats for swimming or launching a kayak. There are deep water moorings for any size boat also available. Bring your own motorboat,sailboat or kayak and explore the river.The property is professionally treated for insects and tick control. The backyard of the cabin consists of 40 acres of forest with a field and a pond. Hiking, picking flowers or birdwatching are just a stone throw away. Come and enjoy this beautiful piece of Maine. Great location for visiting the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens and Boothbay. And we got to see the Northern Lights with the naked eye! The highlight of the trip! We loved waking up to the stunning ocean views every morning and spending our days exploring the nearby attractions. The cabin was immaculately clean and well-maintained, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. This was one of the best vacations we've ever had, and we can’t wait to return. If you're looking for a peaceful and picturesque retreat, this cabin is the perfect choice. Communication was easy and straight-forward. This cabin is absolutely one of a kind with a history that is fascinating. This is the authentic Maine cabin experience with unbeatable water views- warm, cozy and well appointed. And the outdoor shower is just a dream! The beds were very comfortable with high quality linens. The kitchen was well stocked and included modern amenities. We especially enjoyed the patio, grill and comfortable outdoor furniture and spent nights star gazing. The location itself couldn't be better- plenty of excellent shopping, dining, beaches & trailheads.
