Prachovske rocks, Bohemian Paradise, Czech republic 

Prachovske skály (=rocks) are the most famous rock town in Czech republic. It was born as a sandstone sediment of a prehistoric ocean some 100 Milion years ago. It was formed by the water, wind, frost, rain and it created numerous rock towers which were in 1933 certified as a nature park reservation. It is situated ca. 100 km northeast from Prague near the town of Jičín. 

The view is from the viewpoint Vyhlídka Českého ráje (=Bohemian Paradise) towards the main valley of the area. « I've probably never seen such a tidy, nicely smelling and absolutely neat and mint hotel room :-) Also the staff was extremely and un-Czechly nice: the couple of owners personally serving breakfast and being polite and courteous! Very easy access at late arrival. The only negative point: the hotel garden was locked, I would have liked to visit it... »

« We are a family with 2 children, and we stayed for 3 nights. The room was clean. The receptionist was helpful and gave us a special attention with changing the room which was more suitable for our small children. The outdoor jacuzzi was pleasant and with hot water. The breakfast was tasty and equivalent of the properties' star rating. The only negative point was a Monday breakfast when I suppose the hotel occupancy was low, so the breakfast food variety was very reduced and except that the food...

« Wir hatten 2 Hotelzimmer gebucht vom 13.12 bis zum 14.12\. Vor Ort war dann aber eine Gesellschaft drin und man sagte uns es liege keine Reservierung von Expedia vor. Laut Expedia hat bis heute auch niemand von dem Hotel auf die Mails von Expedia reagiert. »

"Hotel occupé qu'une nuit. Que dire ? Les espaces sportifs semblent geniaux (non testé). Le restaurant est tres bons, le service au top, le petit dejeuner est en buffet, varié et régulièrement réapprovisionné. Les chambres sont propres, sans vis-à-vis, bien insonorisées. La literie est bonne, la salle de bain avec douche de belle taille. Un joli parc fait face à la salle du petit dejeuner (avec des cervidés)"
