The apartment could not be cleaner or better appointed with all the kitchen and bath items that make a stay comfortable. Our biggest ‘dislikes’ were that the rather narrow and steep(ish) steps into this basement apartment because they are difficult to navigate if you have balance issues (especially when lugging suitcases), there was a damp, lingering basement odor and no windows. The location was very close to the airport and convenient to Charlottesville and the Shenandoah National Forest. Space was ample for one person or a couple. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and necessities. Lots of clean towels and linens. It is a basement apartment so it is damp and musty which is to be expected in a basement. Our staybwas great. I stayed for 2 days with my husband and 4 year old daughter, the apartment included everything we needed and it was very clean. We really enjoyed staying there and felt like home.
