This incredible executive Eagle Lake vacation home (built in 2020) provides luxury comforts while you experience everything the Northwoods has to offer. For year-round fun, this home is located just steps away from Eagle Lake. The setting, panoramic lake views and sunsets are stunning. Eagle Lake is one of the most beautiful lakes on the 28 lake Eagle River Chain, the world’s largest chain of lakes. And the amenities that we provide are second to none. Sunset Lodge is surrounded by natural beauty. Over 2,000 glacially created lakes, 72 crystal clear rivers and streams, millions of acres of pristine public forests, a community of unique villages and townships. Over 500 miles of snowmobile trails, outstanding downhill and cross country skiing, year round trails in the heart of our forests, from hiking, jogging, and biking, to winter sports. Incredible wildlife includes bald eagles (the highest concentration in the state), deer, loons, otter, fox, geese and more. Upon entry to Sunset Lodge, you are greeted with a stunning open concept floor plan filled with natural light from the large lakeside windows and 20 foot high ceilings. The 1,500 square great room offers plenty of seating for everyone. There is an Amish custom dining table that seats 16 plus additional seating at the island with bar stools. The gourmet kitchen has hickory cabinets, all stainless-steel appliances and is equipped with everything that you will need during your stay. Enjoy the beautiful fireplace while playing a game of pool. There are 6 large bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. The entire home is furnished with beautiful North woods décor and can comfortably sleeps 20 (best for 14 adults and 6 children). Relax in knowing that no matter what age, everyone will enjoy their time here. Outside is a large patio with a dining table, lounge chairs and two large gas grills, with propane included. The large yard is level. Swimming is ideal for all ages. With a hard sand bottom, shallow at the shore for the little ones, and practically no stairs leading to the lake. There is a wonderful dock and fire pit with complementary firewood. Enjoy the hammock, lounge chairs, stand up boards, kayaks, huge play yard and play gym, outdoor tournament ping pong, horseshoes and so much more. Angling for all species is outstanding. The property and house couldn’t have worked out better for our getaway. Overlooking eagle lake, you can’t beat the view. We loved the suspended canoe in the great room.We all enjoyed the fire pit and the dock came in handy for our rental pontoon boat.We left suggestions for improvements of:- A second refrigerator is necessary for a house this size.This refrigerator could be put in the laundry room.The ice maker didn't work.- The ovens smoked badly and we couldn't even use one.- Also the lack of garage or use of a pantry was limiting.- The lighting in the bunk bedrooms was horrible.We were unable to read, unpack and pack.- The queen size beds in the bunk rooms were not functional for two adults because you could only get out of the beds on one side. ##### Christine R. Rent a waterfront in northern Wisconsin or Michigan. This was a special 5 year matk for 2025\. Our theme this year was Eagle Lake where the sun sers and family soar. This year Our family trip included by Nephew his wife and 2 children fr9m oklahoma it was their first trip to Wisconsin. Sunset lodge did not disappoint it put on full display the beauty of our gorgeous state. My daughter and her vfamily from Oklahoma also was part of the fun. Along with my sister and my other daughter and husband enjoyed. Theyvall had rave reviews of this years events. We used everything to the fullest. The paddle boards swimming pool table fuseball table. The home cwas welcoming and very clean. We loved the great room - there were 12 of us and we never felt crowded. The kitchen was well equipped and our cooks loved the double ovens and the crock pot. The dining table was big enough for all of us. We used the paddle boats, the kayaks and the splash pad. My personal favorite was the fire pit … we used it at least 4 times during our stay. Miranda was very helpful and patient with all of my questions. Getting in was as easy as getting the code to the doors. I can’t say enough good things about this place. The property was neat and clean. The backyard was open and fun for the kids and the waterfront was perfect for swimming. We rented a pontoon boat from just down the river. No in/out of water. Just motored down the river to the home. The only issue we had was the neighbors a few doors to the east were noisy with their ATVs and music into the night. The property manager Miranda was amazing, quick to respond and very helpful. We walked right onto the lake and caught a few walleyes on tip ups. Really nice outdoor firering with an ample supply of wood. Pool table, foosball, poker table and tons of games. Loved the open concept, large dining table and fireplace! It does sleep 20 but that is sharing beds and no room for air mattresses in the bedrooms. We all agreed we would love to rent in the summer too!!! ##### Janet V. We take an annual long weekend up to the Eagle River area each fall, and I believe we have found the perfect place! We were looking for something that would accomodate our family (6 of us) but would be flexible enough for us to host some local family members for meals, fires, boating, etc. This property met all of our expectations and more. Miranda was very communicative and responsive. Check in was easy. The property itself was incredibly clean and well appointed - the dock clean and spacious - the fire pit was amazing for family fires - the billiard table, foosball table, and large screen tv were also great while we watched weekend football (when we weren't in the family pontoon enjoying the gorgeous views on the lake). Right on one of the best parts of Eagle lake with a nice dock, fun outdoor seating for gathering around a fire, huge great room with foosball, pool, and card table. And room for a huge crew...we lost track of all the beds. And Miranda was fantastic in terms of communicating and going out of her way to ensure we were comfortable. She even arranged for a large pontoon boat to be delivered to the dock that we could have used (for a fee) which was super convenient. We would definitely recommend to anyone with a large family or group ...lots of seating areas both when hanging out or for dinner. And within walking distance of the Chanticleer Inn and quick drive to town or the marina where there are more boats available for rent. Lastly, seems like a great fishing spot. ##### Mark M. We had 3 moms and 6 teens stay for 2 nights for an amazing senior trip. We had a spectacular time. There were 2 paddle boards, an aqua lily pad and 5 kayaks. The kids swam and caught a ton of fish, we all sat around the fire and played trivia and made s'mores. The pool table, foosball game, and the poker table were so much fun. The fireplace was spectacular. The kids were freezing after swimming in May and they all played games by the fireplace to warm up. The water is sandy and not very deep so one of our girls learned how to swim! The 2 grills were in perfect shape and we made delicious meals. We went through a pretty intense storm and the property manager had great communication with us. I am so happy with our stay! This property is well worth the money. Downtown Eagle River was delightful and we went on an amazing self guided waterfall tour! If you are looking for adventure google Duppy Falls and Jumbo Falls and bring your fishing poles. ##### sarah n.
