We are located on Eagle lake, which is one of the 28 lakes on the the Eagle River Chain O' Lakes. Centrally located on the upper chain offering access to a number of restaurants and marina services. Explore the different lakes all connected by the Eagle River. This home boasts magnificent lake views along with sunsets that you will never forget! Our home offers all of the amenities and comfort that you desire in your Northwoods home. It boasts 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths and accommodations for up to 16 guests. Other highlights include a screen porch, deck, grill, fully equipped kitchen, linens, bedding, and disposable products for your stay. Our swimming area is great for kids of all ages as there is a hard sandy bottom and a gradual slope out to the end of the docks. You can easily dock your boats there as well. Very nice kitchen and great room. Large dock in very good condition with a sandy bottom swim area that the kids enjoyed. We rented a pontoon boat and had fun exploring the entire chain. Owner was very responsive and helpful in sending us a hair drier that we left at the house. My only suggestion would be to replace some of the mattresses and replace the worn-out chairs in the screened-in porch. The screened in porch is a nice feature as well. We loved the water area between the 2 docks for the kiddos to play and learn to kayak in. The house offered different areas so we could be doing alot of different things at once, whether it was napping, reading, puzzling, card playing or whatever. We saw many deer in the area and a few came almost right up to the children which completely thrilled them! We also really liked the fire pit near the house so we could enjoy a fire on a cool day without having to go down to the water. The lake is beautiful and connected to many other lakes with fun establishments to stop and enjoy, even a floating ice cream pontoon! As for fishing, even our 4 year old caught fish off the dock! The sunsets and the stars were also really incredible. There were not really 5 bedrooms though, just beds put everywhere downstairs. We rented a boat and jet ski during our stay and had a great time on the water and exploring the chain. I will say the cabin is really a 3 bedroom. There are only 3 bedrooms with doors that shut. There is a king bed in the living room downstairs and a bunk bed in the hallway off the living room. There was a curtain that separated the king bed/living room and bunk bed. It ended up working for us, but the listing could describe this greater detail. The kayaks are also shared between two rental homes. This was not described in the listing. There are two docks as well. A lot of stairs to the dock, but it was fine for us. The deck and stairs down to the water had multiple locations with holes and rotting wood with nails exposed. We had small children with us and didn’t feel comfortable letting them walk around the deck. We realized the second night that the a/c stopped working and the unit had frozen over. We turned off the unit and let it sit overnight and turned it back on the next morning and everything was working fine. Any concern brought to the owner and property managers attention was immediately dealt with and they even sent out a HVAC tech the next day to take a look. Very quick responses over all. The hot water had a hard time keeping up with showers. A tankless water heater may be a good investment. If a house is going to sleep that many people, it should be able to handle several showers. ##### Allison R. Hopefully it will be our last because we have found our perfect rental. The floor plan and sleeping arrangements although a little unique downstairs fit our needs perfectly. The beds were comfortable and the furnishings were perfect. The decorating is what you hope for when renting a northern Wisconsin lake house. The kitchen appliances and dishes were more plentiful and better than one has the right to expect. The other necessities were high quality. There were twelve bath towels in the upstairs bathroom not to mention hand towels and wash clothes or the similar supply for the downstairs bathroom. The hosts, Guy and Christy, were pleasant and helpful. We stayed only one week but felt like we made two new friends. The dock was great for both our pontoon and our fishing boat. To emphasize how much we enjoyed our stay we have already made our reservation for next June. I just don’t know how it could get any better. Did I mention the screened in porch and the covered unloading area? There is more I could say but I think you get the idea. If you stumble upon this place you can stop looking. ##### Stephen B. A beautifully appointed & comfortable cabin, we enjoyed all the seating areas to accommodate many people. Kitchen was well equipped. The screened porch was a plus. Great lakefront. Lots of stairs to the lake & docks so a bit difffcult for older folks. We enjoyed the beautiful sunsets & even saw the Northern Lights one night. ##### Linda F. Paper products were provided and dishwasher soap etc. Lake area and pier were very well kept. Property Host was welcoming and accommodating. The lake access would not work for those with mobility issues but it was fine for our family. There were 2 kayaks and one canoe for use. There was a sand area for young ones to play in. The bedroom arrangement was unusual. Upstairs 2 bedrooms and 2 baths were small but totally fine. Lower level was weird because there was a large room like a second living room with a king bed and no privacy whatsoever. Those who used the other lower level bedrooms (a bunk bed in the hallway and a large family bedroom) had to walk right through that room. No one wanted to take that big room as their bedroom for that reason. Suggest drapes or room divider for privacy. Very modern lower level bathroom. The WiFi was iffy and even after someone came to make improvements it still was not very good for my two adult daughters who had to work from “home.” The north woods area is beautiful with lots of deer and eagles. I can’t say this was a 5 bedroom house in my opinion as stated in description. work from “home.” Theupstairs ##### Anita L. In July 2024, 17 of us stayed here with 2 boats & a few other water toys. The home is on Eagle Lake, part of the Eagle River chain, allowing access to various lakes & restaurants via boat. The dock area, with a sandy bottom and shallow water, was great for floating and swimming, with shade at waters edge. Guy & Brian, the property managers, were very responsive & helpful. There's a smaller home on the same property, but we never felt like we were intruding. The walk to the water could be challenging for those with mobility issues. The home was advertised to sleep 15-17 but we found it better for 12-14, with air mattresses needed for additional guests. The bed layouts have changed since the listing photos, & the lower-level "king bedroom" lacks privacy as it is essentially a converted living. The 3-seasons room had a futon & space for an air mattress, but the air conditioning struggled to keep it cool & there was a musty smell overall. The kitchen was well stocked, though the oven didn't work upon arrival & it needed cleaning. Brian quickly addressed the issue & Guy let us use his oven next door. There were ample supplies & towels to start the week, & the provided laundry soap was helpful. Overall, this home was in a perfect location for our water-loving, boat-owning family. With a good deep clean & a few adjustments, it could be an executive rental. ##### Gregory S. Booked the property for an annual snowmobile trip but there was no snow. I was unable to get a refund so half the group stayed at the property for the week. The added insurance I purchased from Global was a joke. They DO NOT cover the lack of snow. The only reason people go to the North Woods in the winter is to snowmobile or ice fish.This was a waste of money for the group and VRBO needs to look int another insurance company to partner with. ##### Jeff D. Loved having a dock available for the week to keep our boat and the availability to the Lilly pad and water skis. Great location and beautiful sunsets. Steps down to water would be hard for the older generation. Screened porch was awesome and kitchen well stocked. Second fridge/freezer in lower level was huge too. Relaxed in mornings and nights with tons of wildlife as little friends right outside the door. Bunk beds were a tad squeaky when someone moves. We had a blast at this beautiful place! There was plenty of room for our group of 12 and it was nice and quiet since it was near a dead end road. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed and more. The kids loved the sandy beach and the docks were perfect for our 3 boats. There were 2 fire pits and the deer came right up to the cabin. The shower downstairs with the steam option, heated floors & heated towel rack was the best part - we felt like we were at the spa! Haha The owners were super kind and accommodating and we can't say enough good things about the place. Highly, highly recommend!! ##### Katie R. No hot pads no can opener no whisk no cheese grader. Also quite a lot of steps to the water which had no l path lighting at night.
