What's nearby: Though this getaway is not lakefront, you are only a fourth-mile from the boat landing, making summer days a blast for everyone. When winter comes around, bring along your snowmobiles and make the most of fresh powder right out your back door. When you need to grab a few groceries or a bite to eat, a local market and restaurants are within a few miles of your front door as well. There were four of us and were a little concerned about having one bathroom, but had no issues. We each had our own bedrooms and besides that we were mainly in the kitchen prepping food and in the dining room playing games.There was a pull through driveway, which helped tremendously since we brought our boat. The house is situated next to a road, but we hardly heard any cars go by, so it was quiet. Also, there were not any neighbors around, so that was nice as well.There is not a dishwasher, so I was happy that I brought paper plates to cut down on washing dishes. I did not think the toilet was as clean as it could be. It may have been a rust issue, there are things to use for that. Also, in the room I was in one of the trim boards on the ceiling was partially hanging down with nails in it. The kitchen had just about everything we needed and on the whole very clean, I am glad they accept pets too and they even had a pooper scooper there for us to use. My family has always gone up north in the Minocqua area for all our family vacations.
