"The property was superb. Spacious and clean and very well equipped. Plenty of little extras like cleaning fluids, cooking equipment and washing/dishwasher tabs. There was a double bedroom and bunk beds in a separate room. There was more than enough storage and clothes hangers. The location was also perfect. There were 2 bikes available but unfortunately we didn’t get a chance to use them. Would love to go back."

"So much better than Amsterdam. A beautiful fishing village just a bus ride away from Amsterdam. We loved it. The location on the canal was incredible. The house inside was top notch. We had everything we needed and communication with Rein and Ben was excellent. If we ever return to the Netherlands we will definitely stay here again."

"For some reason my room card (room 413) wouldn't work on the 3rd evening, which was a problem as it was after 10.30 in the evening, and i was a single 69 year old traveller. I returned to reception and the card was reset, i returned again to the 4th floor to find it still wasn't working. A member of staff then escorted me to the access door on the 4th floor to ensure it worked the 3rd time."

"Great location right beside the metro and a shopping strip mall. We stayed in family room 411 and the internet rarely worked. They tried resetting the modem, but that didn’t help. . They offered to move us the 2nd day, but when we checked there were no family rooms available that day to switch to. Other than the internet access the hotel was nice. "

I thought that I would be able to grab something at a local café, but nothing opened until around 10am. This could’ve been because of the time of year I went. "Second stay here and the staff are excellent. The bar and restaurant are also very good. We stayed on a very windy weekend and it felt like a cosy sanctuary. It is in very close proximity to Amsterdam with enough interest locally to make it a unique spot. great service and my ageing parents were made to feel very welcome. "

"I was so happy with our choice of this hotel. The rooms are so efficiently organized, with just the right amount of space. Everything is so intentional, clean and welcoming. I loved the folded over down comforter on our bed and the lovely, tasteful Dutch windmill mural on the wall (so many hotels have cheap bad artwork, sad but true).
