The property sits on a large farm that is fascinating to explore. The Market, within walking distance on the property, is a great place for coffee, and breakfast fare. But we were so glad we listened to our hearts and chose this place. The entire property is beautiful and well-tended. The air is fresh and clean; the water tastes great right out of the tap. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch watching honey bees gathering pollen from the rhododendrons growing by the front porch. This family has maximized the assets of their farm and created a heathful, environmentally sustainable operation. Solar panels dot the property, and there is a EV charging station at the house. The cafe on the property serves delicious breakfast sandwiches and sells products made in the area. The host sent us detailed information about the property well in advance of our stay. He called us the day of our arrival to welcome us and ask if we needed anything. We knew he would help us any way he could. Our party consisted of my husband and I and our two adult daughters. All of us loved being in the farmhouse. And the stairs? There’s a good solid handrail, which all of us held onto, and we took the stairs one at a time. I’m so glad we did not let our fears from experiencing this farm. We had a wonderful stay. ##### Louise J.
