Dislikes: Main king size bed needs new mattress. Two large, body size impressions on each side of bed. Single pane antique windows allowed cold, heat and noise in. There was a street dance and a bar on the street below, and noisy until 2 am both Friday and Saturday night. There’s only one small mirror in the bathroom, which hangs down, and hard to get ready in front of, think bending down to see in it to do hair a makeup. The loft needs a safety railing, which I had noticed on other reviews, and dismissed, but seeing it in person, wow, dangerous. We got 4 towels and 4 washcloths for 4 people for 3 nights. Could’ve used about 12 washcloths. It is exactly as described and as the pictures detail. And the location is perfect as you can walk to everything in downtown Durango. Check in instructions were easy to follow and getting in was a breeze. A few notes: 1) the deadbolt needs to be fixed - I know others have said this as well, but come on. Just fix the thing! 2) The area rug is on its last leg - time to pony up for a new one before it wears completely through. 3) If there is a squeaking noise that is driving you nuts, adjust the vent in the ceiling you can reach from the loft. That is where it is coming from - took us a while to find it, but we did get it and a simple adjustment takes care of it. ##### David D.
