Breathtaking San Juan mountain views from every window - the best views in Silverpick Village! A true Colorado experience. This one bedroom unit has been fully renovated and luxuriously upgraded. It sleeps up to four people and is located on the mountain, about half a mile south of Purgatory Resort, nestled in a mature aspen grove at an elevation of almost 8800 feet. It is only a two-minute drive to resort base area. It is the perfect location for an active get-away, a relaxing break or a romantic escape. The condo features breathtaking views of the San Juan Mountains from the living room, dining room, bedroom and deck. The living room is inviting and decorated in an updated “Colorado Mountain Style” … overstuffed seating, earthy colors, with natural wood and stone elements. The 10-foot wide glass door wall opens to a private deck with a seating area to enjoy the fresh mountain air and amazing views. Deer and elk sometimes graze within a few dozen feet of the deck. Hummingbirds provide summertime entertainment as they buzz around enjoying the wildflowers. The interior dining area features seating for four at a bar-height lodge-style table. There are also outdoor picnic tables in the meadow that can be used during the warmer months. We often receive compliments from our guests regarding the impressive chef-inspired kitchen. From the new quality appliances, hickory cabinets and quartz counter tops to the professional quality pots and pans, new dishes, utensils and inventory of small appliances, you’ll be all set to create a gourmet meal. If cooking on vacation is not your thing, no worries, as there are several restaurants nearby. You’ll appreciate the fully renovated bathroom with double vanity and featuring Kohler fixtures. The property was very clean. There was nothing that hadn’t been thought of ahead of time. The house had everything we needed for cooking. The space was very comfortable and user friendly. Communication was great with Krista and the property manager, John. This property has a higher elevation than the city of Durango which made the temperatures very comfortable for a summer stay. ##### David M. We have stayed in many VRBOs this is by far our favorite. The kitchen is well stocked. There are plenty of blankets, pillows, and towels. They even have bathrobes for the hot tub. Loved our stay. Wood fireplace was stocked up and made for great ambience. Over the past few years, I've stayed at quite a few rentals, hotels, resorts, etc., but this property was arguably one of the very best as far a comfort, cleanliness and attention to detail when serving their guests! Both the local manager and the property owner were exceptionally responsive to my pre-arrival communications and made me feel welcomed and appreciated as a guest. Upon entering the unit, I was very impressed by the cleanliness, decor and how well-appointed the condo was! While it sports a rustic, mountain feel, a great deal of work has been done by the hosts to modernize the unit for a comfortable and functional stay. Moreover, the hosts have thought of everything to make their guests have an enjoyable stay - including but not limited to loaner daypacks, hiking guides, umbrella, tote bags, binoculars for wildlife viewing and even pre-stamped postcards!!! The kitchen had everything one could need for a stay, including many basic staples. The comfortable stay was punctuated by the buttery sateen sheets on the bed, which was certainly a treat after each long day! Needless to say, I highly recommend this property and the hosts for any of your future lodging needs! Cheers! John ##### John M.
