Simply enter your desired dates and click 'Book Now!' This remodeled one bedroom, one bathroom condo at Cascade Village is only 1.6 miles from Purgatory (Durango Mountain Resort). Cascade Village is the ideal location for year-round fun. It's located 26 miles north of Durango, 1.6 miles north of Purgatory (Durango Mountain Resort), and 20 miles south of Silverton. It's not just a ski area, it's a community filled with activities for all ages. There is a full kitchen with all new GE stainless steel appliances to make a great meal. The kitchen is open to the dining area and living room, which makes it nice for conversing while preparing meals. The living room has a couch and two comfy chairs. The couch also makes it into a queen-size bed for additional sleeping space. Just imagine yourself curled up on the couch with a comfy throw, a good book, a hot cup of cocoa, and the fire crackling. The bedroom has ample space for you and your luggage. There is a large bed, two nightstands, and two dressers. The closet is very large, so unpack and stay a while! There is also a flatscreen TV in both the bedroom and living room area, complete with a satellite network. The bedroom also has a Blu-ray player, the living room has a DVD player and there is a collection of DVDs for you to choose from. For you techies that have to bring work with you, there's high-speed internet both in the condo and in the main lodge. The bathroom is amazing. There's plenty of room for two people to get ready for the day at the same time. There is a large vanity with two sinks, and an over-sized jetted tub with shower! Things to know: Free WiFi Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. This technology is privacy compliant, and only monitors the presence of decibels and devices-not any personal conversation or information. Thank you for supporting our efforts to be good neighbors! Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The bed is very comfortable and the accommodations are so welcoming after a long day of hiking! The owner should invest in new mattresses for the king, sleeper sofa and roll out. Proximity to the ski resort was good, but we will likely choose a different unit in Cascade Village next time. It is a typical low end ski area condo with all of the amenities you would expect. Our issues were with the cleaning. Fridge and microwave handles with visible fingerprints, kitchen counters with loose grit all over them, and we were picking shards of broken glass out of the carpet all week. No response from a text to Vacasa. Finally a canned we are sorry response late in the week after I found a place to e-mail them hidden on their app. We will never do another Vacasa unit. ##### Douglas A. All was well except for the needed wi-fi connection. Owner's wi-fi was poor at best. Due to the persistence of a Vacasa representative we were given the name and password to the neighbor's wi-fi (with their permission). Dining chairs are in good condition except a couple of them have dried out enough that the support rungs for the legs were coming out of their holes. Lemon oil and wood glue would be a remedy.
