We loved our stay at Wind Down Ranch. It was the exactly what our family needed. This was our last stop on a multi-state road trip. We found the cabin to be clean, well-stocked, inviting and a lot of fun. We especially enjoyed the game room and the back patio with the hot tub. We had dinner and a beautiful sunset one night and enjoyed our coffee on the patio every morning. We would definitely stay again.

Wonderful little gem just outside of downtown Durango

I would definitely stay in this gem of a property, just south of downtown Durango. We had a large group of Girl Scouts and parents and this place was perfect.

We had an amazing time. The game room was really cool and the whole housebwas spacious. Nice hot tub!Location was also great if you are coming from the South.

Relaxing in the country

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It would be a great place for families - lots for everyone to do. We enjoyed sitting outside in the evening and watching the cows and deer. A little drive into town but not bad. It could use a lamp in a couple of bedrooms.

Nice and quiet

Really enjoyed our stay. Well worth the money. Lots more of space and amenities. We have a large family with an assortment of ages and there was something for everyone. I was looking for peace and quiet N I found it here.

College Send-off

I couldn't have picked a better spot to suit the needs of 5 adults, (one of those being my 18 year old college student) a four year old, six year old, and eleven year old. Between the game room, hot tub, and numerous bunk beds, everyone was entertained with plenty of space and comfort.

Perfect for a large group

We stayed with our 4 kids plus a ton of other family for 4 nights. The house was large enough with room to spread out, super clean, and had amazing views. The hot tub was fully functional, and the kitchen was stocked with coffee pods and liquid creamer! 10/10 will return if we come back to Durango.

Fantastic!

We had 8 adults, 1 baby and 2 dogs for a family celebration of our youngest graduating from Fort Lewis College. The place is lovely, clean, and so cozy! We appreciate the fully stocked kitchen including bananas, muffins, oatmeal and a full coffee bar awaiting us when we arrived for our first morning. Loved the hot tub, the privacy and the gorgeous views all around. The game room was a fun family gathering place too. Highly recommend this place!

Great Country Home

The house is out in the country and we loved the quiet, dark skies, and open land. The house was clean and very comfortable. The game room is a wonderful amenity. The host was very responsive with a few questions we had while we were there. Highly recommend this home.

Cabin was amazing!

We were a group of 12 friends, and we absolutely loved this cabin! It was super cozy, spacious and nice! We loved the game room! We traveled from Texas, we went to the Silverton train which was awesome! We algo went to the purgatory resort, we had so much fun! I highly recommend to stay in this cabin! We also had complimentary muffins and orange juice! We felt very welcomed! I would definitely consider booking it again!

Peaceful, Homey Cabin

The location of the cabin just outside of Durango (about a 20 minute drive) was just what we wanted. It was peaceful, quite and beautiful. Cabin was well appointed and had everything we needed. The muffins and bananas that were left for us to snack on was very thoughtful and appreciated. We spent a lot of time on the back porch in the hot tub at night gazing at the stars and with our morning coffee watching the sun come up. It was everything we could have hoped for.

Lovely Property!!

We had a wonderful friend getaway! Thank you for the great property for us to make memories! Everything was lovely!!! Just a couple suggestions. A nonskid rug in the bathroom for coming in from the hot tub. And more hooks for regular towels and hot tub towels! Thank you again for the goodies also!!

Perfect stay!

We often have trouble finding places with enough bed space when traveling, not here, sore than enough room, all in comfortable beds. All TV’s and appliance clean and working, including BbQ grill on patio. The property is about 10 mins. from Durango and shopping, but we found that a plus. Quiet property on ranch land and we watched deer grazing in the pastures around us while we enjoyed the hot tub. Game room is a plus especially with teens along. We would definitely stay again.
