This is a mountain retreat right at the base of one of Purgatory’s favorite runs, Lower Hades - just a 2 minute walk from the condo. Ski down to the high-speed six pack in the morning, and ski right back in the afternoon. In spring, summer and fall, mountain biking and hiking trails are just the other side of the front door. The remodeled condo includes new appliances and offers plenty of space and features an open floor plan. The condo also features covered parking at the unit, washer and dryer, super fast Starlink WIFI and a gas grill. The large back deck offers great views and great outdoor space to hang out. Bed Configuration: Master - King with TV and Ensuite Bath (2nd Floor) 2nd - Queen and TV (main Level) 3rd - Bunks Beds (2) - Single over Single (main level) Main Living Space - Queen Pull Out Sofa The 4% resort fee included in the quote is the required resort fee that must be charged and does not allow access to the Durango Mountain Club. For an additional (and optional) 4% resort fee, you will have access to the Durango Mountain Club which includes an outdoor heated pool with slide, outdoor hot tub and workout facility. When booking, just advise if you would like us to add the additional 4% resort fee. This home is pet friendly! We allow a maximum of 2 dogs max and the pet fee is $40/day (for a max $250 per stay). Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years). Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (white water rafting, horseback riding etc.) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours etc.) activities. Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s. The layout of the townhouse was very good for an extended family. Also the layout of the master bedroom & bath was very nice. Other bedroom sizes were ample. However, lighting in bedrooms as an issue. In the bunk room, lack of lighting was an issue, The lamps provided had extension cords running across the room creating potential for an accident. (I changed the tall lamp used, moved it closer to an outlet to reduce cordage, and plugged it in on far side of lower bunkbed. Not ideal but better.) In the 2nd bedroom downstairs, light switches did not work and it was hard to find lamp switches in the dark. The living & dining room/kitchen combination was large and comfortable. Note: The heating element in the dishwasher did not work and water in dishwater was cold whenever checked. All dishes and utensils came out of dishwasher with an unclean appearance ....if not well rinsed before, came out dirty. A thorough cleaning under beds, etc. would be helpful. ##### Janet W S. Everyone wanted this kitchen for their own. The deck was a generous size and accommodated the majority of us. We had a couple of days I’d rain but the closet full of games and puzzles kept us from any boredom. We discover some walking trails and enjoyed variety of wildflowers . Only complaints were the queen bed and the bunk beds need new mattresses and we didn’t realize that the swimming pool wasn’t automatically included.
