This thoughtfully designed condo features a full kitchen, a comfortable living area with a large sofa, and a full bathroom—perfect for relaxing after a day on the mountain. Step out onto the private elevated balcony to grill and unwind while taking in the crisp alpine air. Guests also enjoy access to a convenient ski locker and on‑site coin laundry, making it easy to gear up and settle in for your stay at the resort. WHERE YOU'LL SLEEP: \* Queen with TV - studio main level \* Twin over twin bunks in hallway - studio main level RESORT CLUB ACCESS: For an optional 4% resort fee, you will have access to the Durango Mountain Club which includes an outdoor heated pool with slide, outdoor hot tub and workout facility. The 4% resort fee included in the quote is the required resort fee that must be charged and does not allow access to the Durango Mountain Club. When booking, just advise if you would like the extra 4% resort fee added. PURGATORY SKI MOUNTAIN LOCATION: This condo is located at Purgatory Ski Resort in the San Juan Mountains. Purgatory is 25 minutes north of downtown Durango and is known as a family-friendly ski resort. It has 105 trails, including 5 terrain parks, over 1,500 skiable acres and 12 lift. The resort boasts an average annual snowfall of 260 inches. Purgatory Resort offers a variety of activities and amenities that cater to families, including ski lessons, childcare and a variety of restaurants. It is a more affordable option that some of the other ski resorts in Colorado, has a good mix of terrain for all ability levels, and stunning views. If you're looking for a resort that offers something for everyone, staying at this condo at Purgatory is a great option! SUMMER AT PURGATORY: Purgatory boasts a bike park accessible by chair lift, an alpine slide, mountain coaster, and treasure panning. There are also hiking trails, jeep tours, and watercraft rentals on Twilight Lake. Purgatory hosts various events throughout the summer, such as live music concerts, festivals and bike races. NO PETS: Due to HOA rules, the condo (and all condos in the building) is not pet friendly. Please do not bring your pets/emotional support animals. COOLING: Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s. NOTE: This building has thin walls and the residents do strictly enforce the 10pm quite time - please be respectful of your neighbors when staying at Purgatory Townhomes. Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years). For couples or individuals looking to save a little but still have all you need. I would highly recommend this property. The unit is a studio, but does have two small bunk beds. I really enjoyed having a kitchen with everything needed to cook. Check in and check out was seamless with notifying the host as well for a question. The management company called me after a bit and said oh for an extra fee you can go to the lodge which is about a 10 minute walk. I was not sure how to dress/change.... so we never had the opportunity. Ski locker inside the hallway right outside your front door. It was just the two of us so we used the bunk beds in the hallway as additional storage space. Kitchen and bathroom were well equipped. There is no dishwasher but that was not an issue for us. The bed was very comfy. Lots of hooks conveniently placed around the condo and in the bathroom which were handy. Check in and access was super easy. Good directions and information from host. We did have a couple minor issues with a missing tv remote, faulty coffee maker, and trying to regulate the heat but a call to the host took care of all that. They brought us a brand new tv remote with extra batteries, a brand new coffee maker, and also two space heaters to make sure we stayed. toasty warm!! Coin operated laundry was convenient - $1.75/per wash/dry load. Bring quarters.
