The house, built in 1999 by local carpenters and craftsman in the style of an old Caribbean plantation house, is set in a grove of coconut trees, steps from Harbour Island's world-famous Pink Sands Beach. "When we built the guest house we learned the importance of porches and verandas. A generous veranda and a really good mattress merited investment, after all visitors spend most of their time on the beach, on the veranda, or in bed!"
