The city of Edinburgh is also easy reachable by train. Our host was incredibly helpful and accommodating, particularly when we inquired about extending our stay. This house was perfect for our first leg of the trip. It is close to both the every day needs, and the incredible history sites that we visited. It is very quiet but very close to the main roads of travel. The house was very clean, and we loved the size-it was perfect for the two of us. There was one small issue with the listing, as it had been listed as a washer/dryer machine availabilty; however, it is only a washer. Communication with the owner was instantanous, with a solution quickly offered. Overall, it was a beautiful place to start our much needed vacation in this amazing country. Thank you! Its a little remote for nipping out to the pub, but being so peaceful and quiet make up it. The host is very good on communication and could not do enough for us, although we did not test him as we needed nothing more.
