Our only complaint was that the 1 bathroom was on the 1st floor and being an old farmhouse, the stairs were very creaky making it difficult to go up and down after we put the baby to sleep (good thing for portable sound machines). It was a bit of a nusance but something we could have moved past. The biggest concern tho was the management and lack of communication. On the first day, I sent a message to ask about the tap water and if it was drinkable, since the property is on a septic system. I was told that they would reach out to the property owner and get back to me but I never heard back. Then on the last night, when we got home, all of the AC units would not turn on. I once again sent a message via Vrbo in addition to calling all of the numbers provided. The first call I received seemed very automated as if I was talking to a robot and they suggested unplugging the units (which was not possible) or taking batteries out of a different remote to replace with the AC remotes. I was told they would contact maintenance and someone would get back to me, however it was all through messages. The owner even said it's a Sunday night and there was nothing that could be done for us. I was extrememly disappointed in how this situation was handled and wished that someone could have just picked up the phone and talked to me rather than trying to communicate through messages at 9pm when I'm trying to get a baby to bed. ##### Deenah G. There were thoughtful details for the family and dog throughout the house. The rooms were spacious and comfy, and we were very grateful for the working AC during the heat wave.
