Sitting just a short walk from downtown Dundee which is basically the epicenter of Oregon Wine Country you are set to enjoy all the region has to offer. Dundee Park Place is a wonderful two-level home with a comfortable and expansive backyard, beautifully appointed interior surrounded by countless wineries a short walk or a short drive away. Upon entering you are greeting with a warm and comfortable open floor plan that connects the main living, dining, and kitchen area together allowing for your group or family to enjoy time together. Upstairs, you will find all three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. With three spacious bedrooms and two and a half baths there is plenty of room for everyone. There is central AC for those warm summer months and a gas fireplace to enjoy during the cooler months. The kitchen is fully stocked for your culinary desires and equipped with stainless steel appliances throughout. You will also enjoy high speed WiFi, a gas grill, espresso machine and a number of other amenities during your stay. There is something to do inside and and out for every season so enjoy your stay and check out everything the Willamette Wine Country has to offer. Sitting on a quiet dead end street not far of Highway 99, you are just a few houses down from Dundee Billick Park. There you will find tennis courts, a playground, and fields to enjoy for the whole family. A short walk beyond that there are a number of wonderful restaurants like Tina's and Dundee Bistro as well as wineries such as Argyle, Dobbes, and Alit. A short drive in almost any direction will take you to a number of world-class vineyards. There are almost too many to list but don't miss Furioso, Cramoisi, or Domaine Serene nearby. McMinnville sits about twelve miles southwest, and north of there you will find Carlton and Yamhill, all of which are teaming with vineyards you just have to experience. There are a number of events throughout the region to check out as well. Just to name a few, the Oregon Truffle Festival, Fueled by Fine Wine Half Marathon, The UFO Festival, Turkeyrama, and of course, the International Pinot Noir Celebration. Newberg is just down the road with lots of bigger stores if you truly needed something else. The kitchen had salt, pepper, spices, coffee, coffee filters, and olive oil, which was very nice. I need not have been concerned. They were very responsive and proactive - ensuring that we had no problems accessing the property, and enjoyed a good first night's rest. Five of us stayed at the house to participate in a MS bike ride that started in McMinnville. The location was perfect for our needs, and we even received complimentary wine tastings at Solena Estate Winery by staying in an ITrip property. The surrounding area was perfect for our morning walks. The house was clean and we had plenty of room. I would recommend improving the kitchen contents as we cooked in several nights and had to repurpose what little cookware there was to suit our needs. I would suggest a few more pans, baking sheet and more than 1 steak knife. It would have been nice to have an umbrella with the outside table as it was too hot to enjoy the outdoors without one. I would also warn guests of the very steep driveway that scraped the bottom of our vehicle every time we pulled in or out. ##### William W. Aug 28, 2024 #### Wedding Stay We rented the home in Dundee because we were in Oregon for a wedding. The house was just what we needed and our host was very quick to answer any questions. An added bonus was the complimentary wine tastings offered by small family wineries. We drove the beautiful Dundee Hills to two of them and were greeted warmly.
