However, the hallways had a strong smoke odor. I saw a very small cockroach by the nightstand. The staff were very polite. It’s a simple, affordable place, great for a short visit. Dated decor and bed. When we checked in I was taken aback by the front desk. It was fully enclosed in glass with an opening to slide your card through. We arrived late and I’d mucked up our reservation and the lovely receptionist changed our room (bless her). The hallway on level 2 was an assault to the senses (smelled of pot and urine) however all was forgiven when we entered a cool, immaculate haven (room 225 at the end furtherest from the road) that smelled divine and I had a comfy, quiet sleep. If you can cope with a couple of tiny cockroaches (ant size) and a few spots of mould on the ceiling in the bathroom, take your own breakfast including dishes/utensils, for the price, I think you’ll be satsified.
