Our customer service is available to help on requests like these, and would have assisted in getting you some extra items given you folks not having a vehicle with you. Nonetheless, your experience is valid and our team has no problem assessing what's provided to tend to our guests' needs. We also apologize for the layout of the Carriage House. Our century old homes have lots of quirks in their design, and even though these spaces are special, we do have frequent City of Duluth inspections to verify the safety of each suite. Again, we have no issues evaluating and taking action to ensure you feel safe. Your satisfaction is our top priority, and we will always take the proper steps address guest concerns appropriately. We are sorry that the alarm went off longer than hoped, and should have had better communication between your initial call and the time it took to send someone your way. The maintenance tech that was contacted had his shoes on the second he was notified. Although we don't aim for long wait times, we always put forward our best efforts. We are also disappointed to hear of the cleanliness you encountered.
