Living room w/ gas fireplace & large window to beautiful sunset views, and water’s edge deck! Redecorated in 2022! HOSTS STAY in the LOWER LEVEL apt of the house, to give guests the top 2 floors to themselves (w/ their own private entrance). 20-25 min to Canal Park/downtown/mall area, 17 min from the mall, in a setting that is the best of both worlds: “Northwoods” peace & nature, w/ amenities & nearby conveniences of a rural city area! \*\*\* DOCK IS REMOVED from the lake approximately Oct 15th. BACK IN the lake approx. May 10th. The place was very clean and comfortable. There are many nice features about the place; modern kitchen, zoned air conditioning, wifi and electronics. We brought a boat and could dock it in a safe and protected cove, away from the winds and waves of the main lake. The hosts were very helpful and kind. They were easy to contact to ask questions, yet were very respectful of our privacy. We will definitely be going back for another stay. ##### Paul B. The kitchen has everything you would need if you are a foodie. The layout of the house is comfortable with a large two tiered deck and a lovely screened porch area. The vibe is tranquil despite the fact you can see neighboring houses. Duluth and Two Harbors is an easy 25 mins. drive which makes it perfectly close to most things. There is a little convenience store within a mile. The owners are very attentive and for me, the little kitty, Susie was a mega bonus, but if you don't like cats, this one does not bug you unless you encourage attention and want her around. ##### sue s.
