Charming LAKEFRONT home, right on the shore of Island Lake Kubash Bay, straight north of Duluth (25/30 min drive from Downtown/Canal Park). Living room w/ gas fireplace & large window to beautiful sunset views, and water’s edge deck! Redecorated in 2022! HOSTS STAY in the LOWER LEVEL apt of the house, to give guests the top 2 floors to themselves (w/ their own private entrance). 20-25 min to Canal Park/downtown/mall area, 17 min from the mall, in a setting that is the best of both worlds: “Northwoods” peace & nature, w/ amenities & nearby conveniences of a rural city area! \*\*\* DOCK IS REMOVED from the lake approximately Oct 15th. BACK IN the lake approx. May 10th. I highly recommend this property… The owners were great to communicate with and had a nice ice cream treat upon our arrival. Looking out over the lake was so beautiful as well as peaceful. The property came with everything we could possible need. It is also a perfect distance from town, far enough but not that far to enjoy what Duluth had to offer. Ange and Erich made themselves available to us if we needed anything. All together, a fantastic trip. Would definitely stay there again and highly recommend this place. The house is about 30 minutes north of Duluth and is in a very peaceful setting on a small lake. It was a very inviting setting to come home to after exploring the city. The hosts left snacks and supplies for our use and even gifted us with a bottle of local syrup to take with us. The home was stocked with everything you would need to cook dinner or just relax.
