"This place is supercute! There is a very home-y feel to everything. They have multiple options of things to do on the property as well as give you lots of ideas of things to do in the area. Our family of 5 really enjoyed getting away from everyday life and being able to spend it in a home away from home. "
"We really liked the place. A little cabin, tucked away in the woods. Great to see stars, watch the thunderheads roll over the ridges, or listen to the katydids chirp in the evening while fireflies flit about casting their amber glow. The only thing we didn't explore was the hot tub - the weather was just too hot - but we'll keep it in mind the next time we stay here!!"
"Recently stayed 3 nights here with our family of 5 (kids aged 14, 11, 8). Perfect size, great location. We were able to explore Shenandoah and Luray Caverns easily from this location. Beds were comfortable, house was very clean. Reported an issue with the washing machine to management. We weren’t there long enough for it to be resolved while we were there, but they were very receptive to the feedback and I suspect it will be addressed. We used the hot tub, fire pit and grill while we were there - all were great with no issues. I would not hesitate to book this property again. "

"This was exactly what we were looking for in a family vacation. The cabin was spacious, clean, and secluded. The wrap around deck was perfect and the views were amazing. The location was ideal It’s ten minutes from downtown Luray and 20 min from the Thornton Gap park entrance. Patricia was an excellent host, when we found out the first morning that the coffee pot was cracked she ran a new one up to us that morning. I can’t recommend this enough for a family retreat. "

"Don's home is spacious, clean, comfortable, well stocked, organized, and peaceful. The porch boasts a beautiful view of the Shenandoah mountains. We stayed with 8 adults for a retreat and had a beautiful time. Despite the horrible July heat, we felt cool enough inside the home and even on the screened in porches (they had fans!). There were two great living rooms for conversations and connection. The kitchens were big enough to cook all of our meals. The beds were so comfortable and 3 bathrooms were enough for all 8 of us! The bear theme was cute! Don (and his dog Rufus) helped us with check-in and allowed us a relaxed check-out, which was helpful due to the extreme heat. Room for at least 3 cars to park. And the hot tub was great in the evenings! We did not have any issues with anything. Thank you for everything!"
"The house is very comfortable and accommodated the four of us with plenty of room to spread out. The property is gorgeous, with trails that lead to the horseshoe pit and fire pit, as well as more incredible views of the mountains and valley below. The back decks (upper and lower levels) provide amazing views of the mountains, and the sunrise is worth getting up early to see! The almost 2-mile road to get to the house is a little treacherous, and either front-wheel or all-wheel drive is highly recommended. The owners were very responsive when we had a question about check-in. Great location, too! We would return in a heartbeat! "
