"The hotel was clean, the breakfast was very good. This hotel perfect location if you are visiting a student staying in a dorm on the south side of the campus. The big complaint we had is one of the outside door’s latch was taped open. Anyone get in the hotel and walk around the hallways. Not a very safe feeling!!"
"We definitely emjoyed our stay here. The only issue we had was our room seemed to have a weird odor. The gentlemen at the front desk, Wish i would have asked his name(second shift on 7/18/25) was very attentive to our issue. He imediately got us another room with no issues whatsoever. The other room had a similar smell but was not near as bad. In the end it may have just been the cleaning agent being used as the room we were in the smell eventually went away. They should probably address this as some people may be more sensitive than others.
In the end though we enjoyed our stay here. The amenities were excellent and the breakfast was good. If you have pets this is also a great place to stay. They have a small area in back you can at least have your dogs off leash for a little bit. The best though is there is plenty of room and grass to walk the dogs which is a big positive for us. They also have the most reasonable ad on price for pets in the area. You can't beat 10$ a night per pet.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and with a very friendly staff we will definitely stay here again when we come.back. "
"This was our second stay and it was just as great as the first! The house and play room are impeccably clean and well stocked with anything you could need for your stay. Very quiet area and relaxing in the hot tub is a great way to pass some downtime! Will definitely consider coming back for another visit!"
Cabin/Cottage on the South Branch of the Pere Marquette River!

"It was very nice and peaceful, the river right now in the backyard did a little bit of fishing, the only thing that could make it better is maybe some cable or Wi-Fi"
