The house is located right on the river and we spent our mornings and evenings on the deck enjoying the view. It is within an hour to New River Gorge National Park and several state parks. There is plenty of space to explore near the house with the Elk River Trail right across the road. The house is clean and well-equipped and the owners are very communicative. My family "7" kids from 4-15 and my wife loved the stay! And when we come back to West Virginia this will be our go too. Communication is above par. We had rain Thursday evening and friday but the back porch was absolutely perfect for the rain we all sat out and just connected and unwound. Would recommend to anyone...
