In winter, our cabins offer a serene escape, but preparation is key for a safe journey. Here's what you need to know: Before you set off: 1\. Get real-time road conditions and weather updates with Utah's UDot app and Wunderground's website (zip code 84762). 2\. Plan your travel wisely and avoid winter storms. Once snow arrives: • Highway 14 may have snow, and our gravel roads will be snowy. A 4x4 or AWD vehicle is required, with chains recommended. • Snow removal is prioritized, but please keep in mind that we contract with snowplow companies who only plow after 6” or more of snow for driveways, and they will prioritize guests who check in or check out first, followed by groups who are mid stay. • Power outages are rare, but if they occur, contact management and we will provide an update on the situation promptly. Keep in mind: • Nighttime arrivals may find limited services, so plan accordingly. • While we're a small village, we're here to ensure your winter adventure is memorable and safe. I called Jacob and after about 10 minutes he called and said he would sent someone over. When that person arrived he had several rings of keys which none of them worked to open the door. We then had to wait for a third person to come and after over an hours wait we were finally able to get in. After getting in and looking around we found there was only two face cloths for six people and there was no trash can in the upstairs guest bathroom and no trash can in the downstairs bathroom or any where downstairs. We placed a call to Jacob with no response so we looked in the book and found a number for Jen and she had trash cans and extra face cloths sent over. There was no dishwasher detergent or laundry detergent, we have never stayed at a cabin that didn't have a basic supply of both. All ot the above being said this is a very nice cabin, as the pictures show the deck is great with comfortable seating and the fireplace is a nice touch should you choose to use it. The game room in the loft has several different games and we enjoyed it a lot. It was cool weather while we were there and having the gas fireplace in the living room and being able to have a fire with a push of a switch was great. There were some initial issues with the cabin but after they were taken care of we had a great stay and would come back. ##### Richard S.
