It is nestled in a pine tree hillside and is easily accessed off of the scenic highway. This gem is 1 of the 3 that were recently finished. It is an addition to 3 other condos we've been sharing on VRBO since 2009'. You'll have no long walks, elevators or flights of stairs when unloading your personal belongings for your vacation stay. Absolutely NO PETS and NO SMOKING!!! Also, we don't have cameras like most places. You'll get the privacy you deserve! There are now 6 of these cozy condo's. PERFECT for friends or families vacationing together. If this property isn't available, please check VRBO #252336, #252348, #315050 and #1562502 and #1918102. Our 720 sq. ft. spacious Condo is centrally located between Zion, Bryce and Cedar Breaks National Monument. It is a breath of fresh cool air as we are at 8500 ft in elevation, where air conditioning isn't needed. It's a perfect place to relax after your hikes in the warmer areas of the National Parks. Enjoy the amazing scenery and famous hiking trails. Aspen Mirror Lake, Navajo Lake and Panguitch Lake are within minutes of the Condo along with several excellent fly-fishing streams/rivers. There are over 500 miles of ATV trails. During the winter there is great snow for snowmobiling and sledding, and at Brian Head Summer and Ski resort you can take in GREAT skiing or snowboarding. During the summer, enjoy the beautiful wild flowers and wildlife. You are sure to see Deer and Turkey abound! Horseback riding is also available in the village. This cozy and very clean Condo is a spacious open floor plan and is furnished with everything you'll need for a comfortable stay. There is satellite TV/DVD and WiFi for your convenience. There are 2 Queen beds (1 in guest room 1 and 1 in guest room 2). Both bedrooms and living room have ceiling fans to assure you the comfort you deserve. In the front you'll find yourself sitting under the covered patio area enjoying a cup of coffee or glass of wine while breathing in the fresh mountain air. Possibly watching a rain storm or snow storm with the convenience of NOT getting wet. For sure, this is a GREAT home base for your Southern Utah vacation. It is easy access to just about anything you enjoy in the mountains. Visiting the National Parks, taking in a fishing day, ATV or Horseback riding, a day at the Sand Dunes, hiking or just a simple picnic are just minutes away. You can access ATV/Snowmobile trails right from the Condo. We have a FIRE PIT! You can enjoy roasting hotdogs, marshmallows or the kids new favorite (STARBURST CANDY)!!! The roasted marshmallows make the BEST roasted dessert, S'Mores!!!! (graham cracker, chocolate, roasted marshmallows). Just put the chocolate and roasted marshmallow between the graham cracker and it makes a great sandwich dessert. MM.. Goooood! You'll never forget it! Directly across the street is Duck Creek Village. It's a fun happening little village. There's Restaurants, Coffee Shops, Ice cream Shop, Gift Shops and a Convenient Store/Gas Station. There are snowmobiles and 4-wheelers available for rent as well. It's all conveniently located within walking distance from our Condo. Fall Season...... the gorgeous color change of the leaves is a sure thing to talk about! Also, don't miss the opportunity of playing in Utah's snow, well known as 'The Greatest Snow on Earth'. Holidays fill up quick, so don't hesitate. Reserve your nights for that special family vacation in Utah's 'Winter Wonderland'. There is an international airport in Las Vegas and Salt Lake City. Cedar City has a regional airport as well. Las Vegas and Salt Lake are both linked with Interstate 15 which has an exit to Cedar City. It's just a short 30 min. on a beautiful scenic drive up the mountain on Hwy 14 to Duck Creek Village. The property needs a little upkeep as the kitchen faucet sprays everywhere when turned on and the hot water is good for quick showers. Beds are on the firm side and that is ok for most but a pillow topper would have suited me better. If I stay in the area again I would recomend thia place. My only issue was that we were staying on the bottom floor and there were condos above us. Every noise that was made in the above units we could hear in the lower ones. Sleeping was difficult due to the constant noise above us at the time. Even late into the night hours. The water from the tap tastes awful - definitely bring drinking water. The town itself is dead and restaurants aren’t open late. You’ll def want to bring your own food to prep in the condo kitchen! After husband having to work and 3 hour drive up there all we wanted to do was relax. Restaurants have some weird hours and some don’t even open until Thursday.
