Very clean, really big, comfortable spaces to lounge and watch tv, do puzzles. Easy to get to everywhere, HyVee, restaurants. The patio would be fantastic in the summer months. The fireplaces kept us warm and cozy. There was bar noise from below on Saturday night but we put in noise cancelling headphones and slept just fine, the other nights it was really quiet. Everything and more that we needed was in the building. Our bed was a bit soft (but that is a preference issue not a complaint). All of the rooms were gorgeous. We enjoyed the rooftop patio! The only “warning” I would give others, there are a lot of steps to the loft. I mean, one assumes steps with a loft but just wanted to give a heads up to anyone thinking maybe there wasn’t. Lol We would definitely stay again. It was a great location to visit “old Dubuque”. ##### Erin H. The Penthouse offers a terrific central place for a long weekend getaway we're longer. Surrounded by lots of restaurants, breweries, parks, attractions, and nearby hiking and the Mississippi river. We had an absolute blast and couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay. The only drawback are the loud motorcycles on the streets of Dubuque...certainly nothing that Jeff can control. His penthouse is amazing and has everything and more that a family could ask for for a long weekend retreat. Our son loved playing cornhole on the terrace. Thanks again Jeff. ##### Corey R.
