My high school friend and I get together in Dubuque from time to time to play guitar and enjoy downtown Dubuque. Couldn’t have picked a better location. With a brewery next door and an excellent Asian restaurant beneath the space, we were a few blocks from our favorite coffee place (Charlotte’s). The brewery was not noisy, even on the weekend, and we NEVER smelled the restaurant cooking. It was great. The neighborhood was surprisingly quiet and very safe. We had an extra bonus with the farmer’s market that was held the weekend of our stay, just a half block away. Ken was a terrific host: very responsive and providing a very clean and comfortable apartment. The only downside was the 20 stairs one had to climb to get into the unit. That’s the only downside. It is in an ideal location. The farmer's market is right outside the door. There are plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Ken was super responsive to any questions we had.
