We are a family of 4 adults and stayed for 10 nights in a 2 bed apartment which was spacious, spotlessly clean and well equipped. The air con was excellent and meant we all slept well. The beds/towels were changed half way through, along with a quick clean which was appreciated. On arrival we found the apartment had 2 double beds rather than the double and twin set-up we had on our reservation. We were quickly offered a solution of an additional single bed which worked well. The pool area was lovely and there were always sunbeds available. We loved the views from the apartment, both front and back. Slano was a perfect size with enough restaurants and shops for our needs.

Great apartments in a wonderful location
This is a lovely property in a nice location (suited us anyway) which was quiet with good restaurants nearby and only 20km from Dubrovnik. It was a very spacious apartment with great aircon, comfortable beds and all the little extras sorted out like washing up liquid and tea towels. Parking is available via a security barrier and one thing we did learn is that parking is hard to find and often needs to be paid for so a big bonus

Great service as always from Vila Riva
Vila Riva apartments are exceptional and myself and other family members have stayed there many times. On this occasion my wife was very ill and we were able to get an apartment at short notice, All the staff were helpful and sympathetic. This included putting inn an extra bed to accommodate my 8 year old granddaughter. Well done to everyone at Vila Riva and helping us when it was most needed.

Very comfortable and would definitely recommend
Excellent apartment! The place was so big, our toddler was very happy to run around everywhere. Lots of natural sunlight in the kitchen and living room area which was particularly nice when we were having breakfast in the morning or an early dinner in the evening - you see a nice sunset from the apartment windows too. Very quiet and no disturbance at all during our stay, and our toddler slept very well every night. The washing machine came in handy - just bring your own laundry detergent. There's a half-size dishwasher in the kitchen and tablets are included, so very easy to clean up the kitchen after meals. Parking is just behind the pool area, secured by a key fob-operated gate.

Definitely recommend this property!! If I was being picking...they use two single duvet instead of one double , the tv extra channels are of bad quality but you shouldn’t be watching the tv and when the boats are in it can get a little noisy. But all this is forgiven when you see the view from the villa. If stay here you won’t be disappointed.

Beautiful!
The Villa is beautiful, the room was immaculate , with great facilities :cooker, oven, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine . The village is also beautiful, with lovely and quite cheap restaurants. The only negative point is the little shop in the village. The staff gave us the wrong change multiple times when we did our shopping there. I am not recommending the shop, but I am afraid that is the only one in the village (Pemo market) I will definitely come back to Villa Riva with my family. Really enjoyed our time there.

Fabulous location, really enjoyed watching the wee cruise ships coming and going. Slano is a quaint and quiet (mid June) town but with all you need, several bars and restaurants, mini market, chemist, bakery, marina.The little beaches around the cove are tranquil with beautiful clear water...prepare for rocky shoreline, but Vila Riva has padded beach mats to borrow.

A dream home away from home
We arrived very late at night, so didn't get to see the amazing views on the way. So the first view we saw was a beautiful room, with all the modern amenities, maintained and cleaned to a high standard, and everything you could possibly need for self catering accommodation was available. It was better stocked then my own kitchen! . The hotel itself, on the way to the room was just beautiful. Then waking up the next day and every day after to the beautiful blue Adriatic sea right outside your window, and going to bed to the sound of crickets was just paradise. The hotel receptionist was so friendly and helpful. This was our first holiday in 12 years and it was made a dream come true by this little place. We are already making plans to go back. Amazing!

Excellent Property
45 minutes from Dubrovnik in a very quiet and beautiful city. Ocean view with a swimming pool (heated) in a very well maintained property. Local restaurants with affordable and excellent food, bakery and market nearby. Bus service to Dubrovnik every hour and local car rental agencies close by as well. You definitely have everything that you need for a pleasant stay.

Lovely apartment by the quayside in Slano
We stayed for 2 weeks in this apartment. It was very comfortable and clean, and the staff were absolutely charming and helpful. There was a large lawn at the back along with the gated car park and a very nice (warm!) swimming pool with plenty of sun beds (could have done with sunbed cushions as they were quite hard!). The apartment is situated overlooking the quay where small / medium sized cruise boats called in to drop off and pick up passengers and supplies, so there was always some action to watch. There was a small food store right next to the apartment block and another about 5 minutes walk away, each with a cashpoint outside. There were 3 good restaurants pretty close, with another couple just around the side of the bay, about 20 minutes away, which provided a chance for a nice gentle evening stroll out for dinner. We enjoyed the food - fish was a bit expensive, but all served pastas, pizzas, squid, octopus, really good steaks and many other forms of meat.

Almost perfect
Lovely resort area similar to the likes of an outer island resort in Lahaina Maui - stashed 3 nights wished there was a change of towels ax washing and drying was not feasible for Clean towels daily. Washer was available but drying could be a challenge for large towels. And not having a front desk manned is an inconvenience - telephone was Out of order but on our final day one of the staff members who was there helped us with her cell phone to call for another reservation. She was a godsend!

Fantastic , perfect!
We have just come back from our wonderful holiday at Vila Riva with our 5 year old. First of all I am still amazed by the quality and high standards of Vila Riva! Our room was perfectly decorated, clean and had absolutely everything we needed for our stay (toiletries, hair dryer, enough bedding, kitchen appliances and other equipment, TV, etc.). Stunning view of the Adriatic and beautiful Slano. The staff were very helpful. Our late night check in was quick and went smoothly.There is also a good sized swimming pool with beautiful views of the mountains and a nearby church. Nice, peaceful location, less than 45 min by bus from Dubrovnik. Vila Riva should definitely get a 5 star rating!

Brilliant accommodation in a rapidly changing town
A really modern guesthouse in a 'not so quiet any more' village. No complaints at all about the accommodation. It's perfect. We were a little disappointed about the speed at which this town is expanding and the number of Party boats that stop in the Harbour. Slano has lost its charm as a quiet family destination, but all the mod cons make it appealing in other ways. Thanx Vila Riva. Beautiful accommodation

Great apartment nice people
The apartments here have all that you need. Unlike many places everything is included with no unexpected extras. comfortable and spacious rooms with a dishwasher and a washing machine so no suitcase full of dirty clothes when you get home. Beautiful quiet resort, very relaxing, sea about 50 yards away, shop like wise and good restaurants in walking distance.

Great Apartment in a good small seaside town
Vila Riva is a superb, clean, very spacious and comfortable, well appointed and equipped apartment. The staff were really helpful and responsive. We've rarely had better. However, every second morning ( Mon, Wed & Fri) we were rudely awakened at 6 a.m. as the town's 6 skips were emptied (they are 15 metres away).and on 2 other mornings a series of vans arrived around 6:30 a.m. to re-provision the cruise ships that stop overnight. Room 4 was on a corner of Vila Riva folks stopped there to part from friends, greet each other busses parked there, lorries double de-clutched to turn the corner and locals set up their booths/shops first thing. In all other respects we didn't want to leave, but we couldn't wait to get home for a good sleep ...

Nice Slano apartment
We were in a 1 bedroom apartment in a small complex on the bay, near the Admiral Grand Hotel. The apartment is clean, modern and matches the description. We used it as a convenient base for day-trips south to Dubrovnik and for wine tasting tours north in the Pelješac peninsula.

It was a very nice apartment I was with my family 5 persons our apartment was ready when we arrive clean wi-fi available we had all the confort we need it's about 15 min by car to dubrovnick we gave restaurant near the apartment and the beach water sport and I was very pleased with the excellent A/C that they have really our stay at the Riva apartment was perfect only one thiNG don't exist it's the elevator

SLANO village
Very nice small fishing village on the way to Dubrovnik. Everytthing very good. When booking and planning to come late -MAKE SURE YOU WILL GET THE DOOR CODE! The front door is locked after hours and no staff on-site. If iI would be passing this town again - will definitely stay!

So great!
Unbelievable place. I think we were the only guests there, so it was like having a huge mansion to ourselves. Awesome room with dishwasher and clothes washing machine. The view was great, the room and bed were comfortable, and it was one of the best values in Europe during our 5 week trip!

Lovely apartments in a small resort
My friend and I did a tour of the Dalmatian coast and these apartments were by far the nicest ones that we stayed in. Conveniently located, beautifully presented and great value for money. Slano itself is lovely, not much going on but a very pretty little place to stay for a night or two.

Quiet town, relaxing, nice beached coves.
Friendly, welcoming and comfortable apartments, beautiful town with all you need for self catering or otherwise, central location in the cove and ease of access to busy tourist attraction Dubrovnik old town by bus. A very laid back relaxing holiday with choices of excursions if wanted.

Beautiful place and great location.
Very comfortable room with all amenities including a washer. Very new and clean. Town is small and has a beautiful harbor with good restaurants. The location was perfect. Short drive to Dubrovnik and Ston ( oysters and wine country)

Schöne Ferienwohnung am Hafen nahe Dubrovnik
Alles hat perfekt geklappt. Die Wohnung ist ein Traum- zentral im Hafen gelegen. In der Wohnung selbst wirkt alles neu und hochwertig. Auch die Außenanlage ist sehr gepflegt, der schöne Pool immer eine Abkühlung wert.

Fantastisch appartement op mooie locatie.
Ontzettend mooi appartement op een fijne locatie met uitzicht op de baai. Appartement was van alle gemakken voorzien. Slano heeft voldoende mogelijkheden om in de avond iets te gaan eten (stuk of 3 restaurants) en een prima busverbinding met Dubrovnik (+-60 minuten). Zelf hadden wij de beschikking over een huurauto en deze kon bij dit appartement prima op een afgeschermde parkeerplaats neergezet worden. Zwembad was voor ons ook meer dan prima. Wat ons betreft absoluut een aanrader.

Kiva huoneistohotelli rauhallisessa kylässä
Hotelli oli meidän tarpeisiimme täydellinen. Sijainti oli aivan meren rannalla ja uimapaikkoja oli ihan lähistöllä paljon. Vieressä oli iso hotelli, jossa mm. tenniskentät. Slano on rauhallinen kylä, jossa kuitenkin kaikki tarpeelliset palvelut ja hyvät kulkuyhteydet muualle Kroatiaan ja naapurimaihin. Hotellin henkilökunta oli ystävällinen ja kaikki sujui hyvin helposti. Huone oli hyvä ja siisti. Keittiössä oli kaikki mitä tarvitsee. Hotellin pihassa mukava pieni uima-allas. Pysäköintialue on kätevä. Yhtenä iltana hotellin edessä oli konsertti (ei ilmeisesti järjestetä mitenkään usein), jonne saimme hotellista myös ilmaisliput. Hotellissa oli laput, joissa pahoiteltiin etukäteen konsertin aiheuttamaa melua. Ulkokonsertti jatkui klo 4 asti aamulla on melu oli tosi kova, eikä nukkumaan pystynyt, mutta eipä tuo haitannut, koska asiasta oli ilmoitettu ja tapahtuma sinänsä oli mukava. Muut asukkaat hotellissa olivat pariskuntia tai lapsiperheitä, mutta omassa rauhassa sai kyllä oleskella. Hotellin aulassa oli kirjoja, myös suomenkielisiä löytyi.

Slano med familj
Hotellet var riktigt bra, rent, rymligt och ett bra litet kök hade även en trevlig liten pool. Staden Slano var väldigt lugn utbudet bestod av 2 restauranger, ett strandkafe och två matbutiker. Det tog 35 minuter in till Dubrovnik med bil.
