The apartment is tastefully decorated and consist of one sleeping room with large double bed, a double sofa bed for two in the living room. If you need an extra bed in the living room or a baby cot, please specify this when booking. Thank you. Kitchen is fully equipped with microwave oven, electric hob, coffee maker and cooking utensils. Bathroom has washing machine and massaging bath. There is also LCD TV's, wireless Internet connection, cable TV, iron, ironing board and hair dryer. On your demand there is also a baby cot. Apartment Ivo can be connected with our another apartment/studio Kate in one big apartment ( 80 m2 ) on two floors, up to 5 persons. The apartment is located on the third floor and it is necessary to use the stairs inside the house. The house is 400 years old and is a cultural monument under the protection of UNESCO (like all buildings within the city walls). During the renovation, strict rules on the protection of cultural monuments must be respected, and that is why the entire house is made of wood and stone. A few things to share if you're going. Kate is a lovely host and willing to do what is necessary. Just call or text. Safety in Dubrovnik and certainly at this property is not an issue. No cars incl. taxis, are permitted, so be prepared to walk. Be prepared to climb four sets of stairs, the last of which has locked access. And in general Dubrovnik is on a hillside so lots of stairs. Remember that the unit is sound proofed - while there is an Irish Pub immediately below the rear window, closing the windows and turning on the a/c makes for a beautiful sleep. The rooms (there is a separate bedroom) both overlook the Stradun, with impromptu views like the marching band! There is a decent sized fridge, a two burner stove top, MW, and a clothes washer. And a jacuzzi tub! We did not turn on the big screen tv, but presumably it works. wifi works very well. The location is fantastic!!! -- Once you remember the 'sound proofing' Kate left us a few items that helped us get settled on arriving quite late. Highly recommend her and this property. ##### R. M. It is up several flights of stairs and does not allow for vehicle loading/unloading which is normal when staying in an old city like this. The unit itself was clean and quiet while the windows were closed. It's bigger than we expected for that location. You can open the window and look right down onto the main street (great for people watching as you wind down). There are definitely stairs to get up there - so be ready for that. The host met us there to give us our key and answer any questions that we had. The location can't be beat - right in the middle of everything, it was easy to get to any place in Dubrovnik old town. People watching out the window to the main street was entertaining. Maro was great - communication was excellent. He met my sister at the gate and took her to the apartment to show her around. The photos very accurately reflect the apartment and we were very comfortable there. It had everything we needed. We were glad to have the air conditioning. The only downside was the three flights of stairs, but it was clearly stated in the listing and we were expecting it. Everything in Dubrovnik has stairs either inside or outside and we were happy ours were inside. They allowed us to leave our luggage on a locked landing outside the apartment on the last day which was extremely helpful.
