### Hedera Estate, Hedera A18

Situated in a quiet location above Hilton Imperial Hotel, this renovated two-bedroom apartment features a spacious exterior with a private pool. Overlooking St. Lawrence Fortress, the property shares an exclusive location within 5 minutes walk from the Old Town Dubrovnik.  
  
The apartment consists of 2 double bedrooms, bathroom with shower, a dining area with table for six, a living room and a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, oven, fridge, kettle, toaster, coffee machine and a dishwasher. The bedrooms glass doors open up to a balcony offering a nice sea view. The two terraces are located on either side of the house; the larger terrace has a private heated swimming pool, 4 sun loungers, a shower and a summer kitchen with built-in barbecue. The apartment does not have a private parking place. Amenities include a swimming pool, A/C, SAT-TV, LCD TV, wireless Internet, full kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, BBQ, washing machine, iron, ironing board and a hair dryer.  
  
There are two ways to reach the centre, walking down a set of stairs (200 steps), you'll find yourself at Pile gate - the main entrance to the Old Town. By walking about 5 minutes down hill (excluding steps) you can reach the middle entrance of the Old Town called Buza gate. There is a mini market, ATM, bakery and cafe located 50 meters away from the apartment, and the cable car which runs to Srđ Mountain is only a 6-7 minute easy walk away.  
  
Please note: the apartment is located within Dubrovnik’s Special Traffic Regulation Zone, introduced in June 2025\. Arrival by private car is not possible, as vehicle access is restricted in this area.  
  
Hedera A18 can accommodate up to 4 (+1\*) guests, with the possibility to accommodate 1 additional guest on the sofa bed in the living room. Use of a sofa bed costs 20 € per person per night.  
  
\*The pool temperature is set to 25C/77F and cannot be changed by guests. The pool heater will not function when the air temperature is at or below 15C/59F.  
  
\*In response to the recent spread of COVID-19 we have implemented new procedures for cleaning and disinfection. Safety of our guests, their families and our staff is important to us. In order to prevent the spread of disease our staff is measuring body temperature on a daily basis even if they feel well , we also encourage our guests to do the same.   
All surfaces with which the guest came into contact with (nightstand, table, chair, coffee table, any and all furniture, amenities, telephone, remote control, door handles etc.), are cleaned with a suitable detergent and disinfectant with at least 70% alcohol. Special attention is given to the cleaning of all bathroom surfaces before new guests arrive.   
In order to avoid any unnecessary contact, bed linen and towel will be changed only on arrival/departure, for longer stays, sufficient towels and linen will be left in the property.

This property features self check in via key lock box. You will receive your code on check in day at 15:00, or earlier in case apartment has been cleaned before. We kindly ask you to provide us with your approximate arrival time so we can prepare apartment for you on time. In case you arrive in Dubrovnik before 15:00 and your accommodation is not ready yet feel free to leave your luggage at our reception, located at Ivana Matijaševića 14 street while exploring the town or enjoying your lunch at one of the nearby restaurants. As soon as the property is ready we will contact you.   
In order to receive your entrance code it is important that you fill out our PreCheck-in form which will be sent to you automatically several times before your arrival.

#### Great option near old city!

We stayed here with two couples, great option just \~300 stairs to the old city walls. Overall the communication was super easy, and the pool/outdoor area was nice to have a after a long day walking around. Overall would recommend for a couple/or two who want to stay outside city walls. A few negatives- there was limited hot water, for four guests we had to stagger showers quite a bit and the outdoor shower was broken and not really usable. The pool area is not private, however no other people in the apartments used it during our time. And you need to remove your garbage which was a bit of a walk down the road.

#### Amazing location and great pool to cool down after a long hot day in Dubrovnik

Firstly on the property its a great location right at the top of Dubrovnik and a short walk into the old town, the property is really big and has a supermarket and bakery just down the road. The pool is a much needed cool down when you have been walking in Dubrovnik (especially the hills!!) We didn't spend a lot of time at the property as we had lots planned around Dubrovnik We arrived on a national holiday, tbh we didn't know and didnt think to look at this but everything was shut, except restaurants and garages... no supermarkets etc. I would of thought seeing as this is the case they might of advised us of this and asked if they could put a welcome pack in which we could purchase seeing as its an apartment Small disappointments for us were things like the pictures clearly show wooden loungers with cushions by the pool, they are just white plastic. The furniture on the balcony is pretty rickety and again the outdoor table shows lovely cushions etc which are not there and just a wooden bench, no cushions at all. For the money you are paying (and we get Dubrovnik is expensive) they just need to spend a small amount on the property replacing some furniture etc and it would be epic. Aircon was noisy but nothing to be worried about. Overall good, it feels the company that runs it is very much a business, not like a personal rental. I think we've just been spoilt with some of the properties we have stayed the last years Again this property is good, but could be excellent

#### Great location with pool

Best thing about this fabulous apartment is the location (207 steps from the Pile gate or up hill from the Boze gate I.e 5 minutes from the old town) The pool was great after a hot day exploring the old town. Supermarket (v basic and small) only 5 minutes walk away. Had a fantastic stay
