Dec 9, 2025 Liked: Check-in, location Disliked: Cleanliness, communication, listing accuracy The only reason this place got even one star was the location: in Crumlin, near relatives, good shopping and transit. The guidance we received included the wrong Wifi password. It took a day and many exchanges with Kevin/Krishna to straighten out. As well, the guidance gave us the wrong locations. for the thermostat and the router. There were many other things wrong:- the smoke alarms were just lying around, not installed on the ceiling.- the CO alarm was also just lying around and buzzing; had the batteries run out?- the dishwasher was full of dishes, including two rusting frying pans.- the freezer had not been defrosted, and was all iced up.- there was an old electrical implement (an expired meter?) sticking into the front hall,- under-stairs area, where the thermostat was located, was full of cardboard boxes, which seemed full of papers.- the gas stove would not light as designed; we were left with a cigarette lighter as the means to turn on the gas, very uncomfortable!- various building materials and paint cans around the place.- we had to move around the furniture in the front bedroom in order to have access to electricity for a bedside lamp.- both bedrooms had (new?) sills installed which were so high we could not close either door.- handles were broken off dresser in main bedroom.- one of the skylights leaked during rain and afterwards.The "host" did not appear to know the property, and in fact appears to live in the UK rather than in Ireland. ##### Jim M.
